My baby turns 22 today and she chose to spend the day with me. How lucky am I??Pretty damn lucky!
And I loved every minute of it. We walked the #reservoir, We ate our way through #Montclair brought our own #cholula with us cuz we’re pros, ate our favorite Thai at #kiayang and hit #MSU for college swag. We racked up 5.67 miles and over 11,000 steps which is good considering how much we ate. Great day all around. Happy birthday buuudy ❤️❤️ by @nlcallender

I saw an adaptation of Ibsen’s A Doll’s House @tworivertheater in Red Bank, NJ
This adaptation pulls Ibsen’s 1800’s play into 1950’s NJ with an all black cast exploring the same issues of maneuvering race, class, gender roles and interracial relationships. l throughly enjoyed @cara.ricketts interpretation of Nora. It was a standout performance and well worth the drive.
Congratulations!! And thank you Two River Theatre. I will be back. I have many more thoughts about this show, its adaptation, production values and direction. If you wanna chat about it LMK

Post birthday dump and thank you!!
My birthday celebrations started off with dinner with some of the best girlfriends a girl could ask for. Thanks @judith_collins and @kwkjax for doing the exact right thing. And then I finally made it to a live performance of @mothstories at Aaron Davis Hall. I’ve always wanted to see it live after all these years of listening on the radio. One day I hope to do my own Moth story too. Then more fun ensued with my stunt sisters @stracyd and @stuntjo23 also some of the best girlfriends a girl could ask for 😊who treated me to an awesome meal at @lilliesvictorian and tickets to @spellingbeenyc. It was a great meal and a lovely show with @jasonkravits killing it with his comedic timing. Wait, there still more. The fam and a boyfriend treated me to a day @brooklynbotanic, my happy place, and another great meal. And then finished up on Sunday with a trip to @njpac for an afternoon symphony of Beethoven’s 5th. I’ve started off this trip around the sun doing exactly what I wanted to do. On my own terms. May it continue throughout the year. A heart felt thanks to all who participated via in person treats, texts, calls, posts, flowers, gifts, cards, etc. Each and every one was deeply appreciated. by @nlcallender
