50 Cent is Balrog. October 16th.
The Street Fighter trailer dropped recently and I had to respond. Designed this character key art concept poster for Balrog the moment I saw the cast. Curtis Jackson was born for this role.
Roman Reigns as Akuma. Jason Momoa as Blanka. Cody Rhodes as Guile. This cast is absolutely insane.

Number zero. Unlimited potential.
Giants fans have been asking for black uniforms and I heard you. I already dropped a black uniform concept for Jaxson Dart. Had to give Brian Burns the same treatment. This is what a Nike x New York Giants black uniform campaign looks like built around one of the most disruptive pass rushers in the NFL.

A street torn out of the world.
The End of Oak Street hits theaters August 14. Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, written and directed by David Robert Mitchell, produced by J.J. Abrams. The premise is that a cosmic event rips a suburban neighborhood out of the world and drops it somewhere prehistoric. So I built the poster around that literally. The street itself, torn free, floating, crumbling at the edges.
Then look at the white space around it. There are dinosaur jaws hidden in the negative space, mouths open, closing in on the island from every side. The threat isn't standing on the road. It's the empty air surrounding them.
This one's meant to be explored. Keep looking and you'll keep finding things.

Same character. Forty years apart. Two completely different design languages.
Last week I posted a painterly tribute to the 1987 original, built in that classic illustrated one-sheet style. This week RoboCop got officially ordered as an eight episode series at Prime Video, from Blumhouse Atomic Monster with James Wan executive producing and Peter Ocko showrunning. Ed Neumeier and Michael Miner, the guys who wrote the original, are producing too.
So I built the other side of it. If last week was 1987 in a vintage painterly style, this is the modern version. Chrome, rain, red scanner light, and OCP looming behind him like the corporation that owns him. Because that's what this franchise has always really been about.

An alternate limited edition cover for Halloween: The Game.
IllFonic's Halloween drops September 8, and I couldn't resist doing my own take on the cover. I split The Shape down the middle, one half burning, one half cold, with Haddonfield bleeding through the Michael Myers.
The tagline came from the game itself. You actually play as Michael in first person, stalking the residents of Haddonfield through his eyes. That mechanic is the whole hook, so I built the cover around it.

Doom has arrived.
The first Avengers: Doomsday trailer dropped yesterday and gave us our first real look at Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, so I couldn't resist a concept teaser the moment I saw it. Marvel and the Russo Brothers bring it all crashing together December 18, 2026.
I built this around the dread the trailer sells. Doom looming in the smoke up top, Cyclops cutting through the dark below with his optic blast, and that Avengers "A" glowing at the center of it all. All roads lead to deceit.

A collector's-style tribute to the golden era.
The 80's WWF was a huge part of my childhood, so I made something for the era that raised me. A commemorative-style piece built around Andre the Giant, with the legends who turned Saturday mornings into mythology packed in behind him. Hogan, Macho Man, Bret, Warrior, Andre, and dozens more.
This one was pure love. No brief, no client, just me and the era I grew up on. Long live the 80's golden era.

A collector's-style piece for the Dark Knight.
The Batman: Part II is officially on the way for February 2028, and I couldn't resist a tribute to Robert Pattinson's Batman while we wait. This one's pure homage. A limited-print take on the character, all embers, shadow, and that unmistakable cowl.
I went with heat and atmosphere here, Gotham glowing behind him, the Batmobile lurking in the haze. Less teaser, more the kind of piece you'd want framed on a wall.

Gotham will never feel so cold.
The Batman: Part II dropped its first teaser yesterday and locked a new date, February 18, 2028. Reeves confirmed it: Gotham's going winter. So here's my take on it, a frozen, abandoned cowl half-buried in the ice, the city fading into the storm behind it.
Funny thing, I actually designed this concept months ago, and today's teaser landed on the same cold direction. Sometimes the instinct just hits.
No hero shot. No face. Just the cowl, frozen over, and a Gotham that's gone quiet and cold.

Mommy's here.
It's official. A24 and Peacock are taking us back to Camp Crystal Lake. The teaser for their Friday the 13th prequel series just dropped, with Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees, and it hits Peacock October 15. So I designed a teaser concept the moment I saw it.
I built her rising from the lake at night, a blood moon behind her doubling as the mask this whole legend leads to. This is the origin of horror's most iconic mother. Before the hockey mask, before Jason became a legend, when she was just a grieving parent at a quiet summer camp.

One, two, Freddy's coming for you.
It's official. A new A Nightmare on Elm Street is in the works at Paramount, built from Wes Craven's original 1984 screenplay and produced by the team behind Barbarian and Weapons. The news just broke, so I designed a teaser concept the moment it did.
I built Freddy as a silhouette and filled him with a burning Elm Street, one glove raised, the whole neighborhood cracking open in flames inside him. No face, no reveal. Sometimes the scariest version of a character is the one you barely see.
