🩺 Honouring the Healers | Doctors' Day Celebration 2026 💙

The Alumni Association, Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Marthandam proudly celebrated Doctors' Day on 20 July 2026, paying tribute to the unwavering dedication and selfless service of our medical professionals.

The celebration was graced by Rt. Rev. Dr. S. Christopher Vijayan, Bishop, CSI Kanyakumari Diocese & Chairman, NMCC.

A special highlight of the event was the dedication of NESAR Helping Hands, reaffirming our commitment to community care and social responsibility.
The programme also featured the dedication of the LED Display Wall and a heartfelt ceremony honouring doctors for their invaluable contributions to society.

NSS Inaugural Meeting 2026 🇮🇳

The NSS Inaugural Meeting of Units 82, 83, 135, 139, 188 & 189 was successfully held at Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Marthandam on 21 July 2026.

We were privileged to have Dr. V. Anslin Ferby, Dean of Extension Activities, Scott Christian College, Nagercoil, as the Chief Guest. Through an inspiring address, he motivated our NSS volunteers to embrace selfless service, compassionate leadership, and active community engagement.

With nearly 290 enthusiastic volunteers and Programme Officers in attendance, the event marked the beginning of another impactful journey of serving society.

✨ Awareness in Action | Vitiligo Awareness Walkathon

On 3 July 2026, the Science Club of Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Marthandam, in association with the Tamil Nadu Science Forum, Kanyakumari Division, successfully organized a Vitiligo Awareness Walkathon to promote understanding, acceptance, and inclusion for people living with vitiligo.

The event commenced with an awareness rally, where students and faculty marched together carrying messages that encouraged society to break myths, end discrimination, and embrace diversity. The rally highlighted that vitiligo is not contagious and that every individual deserves dignity, respect, and equal opportunities.
