I’ve spent a lot of time worrying about how my choices look from the outside.

Whether people understand them.
Whether they agree with them.
Whether they think I’m making the right ones.

I’m tired of living that way.

I don’t know exactly what this next chapter will look like. I don’t know what I’ll lose, what I’ll find, or who I’ll become along the way.

But I know I’m excited.

And for once, I’m going to let that be enough.

I’m going to follow where my heart is pulling me, even if it doesn’t make sense to everyone else.

Maybe this is selfish. Maybe it’s brave. Maybe it’s both.

Either way, I’m ready.

Spent a Saturday reminiscing - realizing I’ve fully outgrown my hometown… I cried, I stared at all the places that hold life long memories, as I drove past them it felt like a movie scene. Every single place flashing a specific memory, I feel my tears slide down my face.
Sunday came along & I felt so alive in a place that calls my name every time I visit. I look in the window of places and see my reflection smiling back at me. I visit some places that have already become a second home, these people remember my face & are so welcoming. My cheeks hurt from all the smiles.

A lot of you assume so much about me, my life and what you think you know about both. MOST of you won’t take the time to sit down and actually ask how I am, those that do? I share what I feel comfortable sharing and they all are surprised at how much I’ve been carrying. It’s a lot, a lot for ONE person to carry. I try my best to manage it all, to not burden others, to stay in my bubble. While at the same time putting myself out there because it’s time for a change & it’s unfair to keep hiding.

I’ve never claimed to be perfect, I’m allowed to take up space and share my life. Because just this morning, I went down memory lane of just a few short months back… I really have been manifesting my dreams. And baby?
