HSM CAMP ‘26

Can’t believe this was already my last one. Slide 20 feels like it was just yesterday. 🥹

God is so good, and I cannot put into words how grateful I am that he loves me and all of you so much.

East, thank you for the community you have built into Willow Creek. I will never forget the memories you have given me, and my life has been forever changed because of you all. Along with that, finally getting a win at my last camp will be something that stays with me for the rest of my life. Way to set the tone.

To my small group, thank you for your loyalty, willingness to listen, and a brotherly love that I can’t explain. I love you all more than you know.

Although I’m sad it’s over, God’s not done working, and I’m so excited to see how he will continue to work in me in the future.

OSB ‘26

Still can’t believe how amazing of an experience OSB has been over the past 4 years. It has shaped so much of who I am, and although I’m bummed it’s over, the memories and experience I’ve gained is absolutely priceless. To the participants, whether it was your first time or your 4th, thank you for being willing to take a risk and do snowball this year! To our leaders, I am so proud of the people you have become. Whether you all realize it or not, you have all grown so much, and I am so honored to have been able to do OSB with all of you this year. To Emerson, thank you for being the best codirector I could’ve asked for. Love you all, and I am so blessed to have been part of such a life changing program 🫶 by @nmorse336

Senior Year XC

I can’t believe how much I’ve fallen in love with this sport. If you were to go back and tell 8th grade me who got near last at every meet that he would be doing this all 4 years of high school and on the collegiate level, God willing, I really don’t know what he’d think.

Although this season didn’t end the way I wanted to, I still can’t help but feel overwhelming gratitude for my family, friends, coaches, and most of all, God. Battling through this season was definitely tough, but through trial and error I know big things are to come this track season. Love you all, it’s truly been nothing short of an honor ❤️ by @nmorse336

This weekend was genuinely the best weekend of my whole life. I don’t know how it just keeps getting better each time, but it does. Seeing the way God worked throughout this camp has truly been eye opening. I learned so many things about myself that I never would’ve thought about if it weren’t for this weekend. I think if I had to sum everything up in one word though, it would be unexpected. So many unexpected moments happened that truly made me see that God’s plan is so much bigger and complex than my plan. “Nobody can coach desire” - Junior year running 🔥🏃

At the beginning of the fall/xc season, I made myself a promise, which was I never wanted to go through a moment where I felt like I wasn’t giving this sport my all. I never wanted to be done with a race feeling like I had more to give, and I didn’t want to let anything stop me from keeping that promise. Although that came with a lot of sacrifice, I have no regrets, and the results that came with it were 100% worth it. Thanks so much to all the people who made every step of the journey possible, and the biggest thanks to God for giving me the opportunity to run for an amazing program.
