had such pleasure splashing joy across the internet as guest editor for Issue 14 of @activeculturesla’s Digest. this volume is a practice of loving gratitude, full of delicious recipes to inspire culinary mindfulness and meditation. like full full, from cucumber salad to vegan NoLa beignets to corn, pork & bean soup to plum jam and more 🍯 and the prose, so thoughtful and rich. poetry, immersive verses. a short plummy memoir. vignettes about the textures of love. guided sensory evolution. a literal donut space odyssey. 💫 stunning multimedia contributions from across the United States, the UK, Mexico and Jamaica come together amidst the richness of contentment and adoration. thank you to all of the artists involved, we made something beautiful together 🌹

special shout out to @adeeroberson 💐

This year’s recipients come from more than 70 countries, extending from Latin America and the Caribbean to Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. Their work covers a wide range of disciplines and addresses a diversity of social concerns, from gender equality, racial justice and indigenous rights to freedom of expression and the impacts of climate change. by @nnekajax

SKEW 03 is here!! 🌞 it was my honor and absolute pleasure to work on this year’s issue of @skewmag as Editor-in-Chief with the amazing SKEW 03 editorial team 💫💫💫 the BLACK ABUNDANCE issue features the work of over 30 Black artists across the diaspora 🌎 across mediums in a dynamic conversation around the multitude of Black life in the form of a print magazine and accompanying digital hub. it has come together so beautifully 🤩

SKEW is an experimental art + dialogue magazine produced annually by @levelground.co and VERY KEY is that the mag is ⭐️co-owned⭐️ by contributors, so all proceeds go to SKEW artists and it’s editorial team
