I have had a couple of things to do with my time in the last few years.
At first, I would stay glued to a thing because I thought I was definitely put there for more reason than I had already experienced.
Then I gained the courage to move from a thing to another. I focused on the light and chose to see only the good gained in whatever I was leaving.
Then it seemed like this courage was overflowing and I was moving on from things too quickly and maybe not getting most of its benefits before leaving.

Still, on average, my ‘luck’ has never missed me. If anything, it’s learning to keep up with my pace and comes to me quickly before I move to the next thing.

Stakeholders are people who hold stakes. To understand this, you should know what ‘stakes’ are.
For a start, money is just one kind of stake. Stake basically is anything that matters to a person. Whatever interests them, influences them, or affects them.

Learning this made me understand how much of a stakeholder I really am in several areas, particularly my own career. Not just any stakeholder. The biggest stakeholder. No one can possible have a bigger stake in it than me.

I am the one who feels every win, every delay, every missed opportunity, yet for years I managed my own growth like a side project. Something I would get to, or that can simply wait.
I do not do that anymore.
You shouldn’t either.

Your career is not a side project nobody is watching.
You are watching.
You are affected.
You are the stakeholder who matters most.

So manage it like it. by @nnennabuilds

Since I started my project management journey, being a ‘one-man mopol’ has done nothing good for me.

I remember after working years assisting and coordinating projects and I thought I could not succeed in the field because I did not have the skills I needed to effectively manage teams of people with diverse skills and experiences.

Learning these same skills was the final turning point for me. Even with remote work, nothing beats the feeling of achievement with my team when we all know that each person pulled their weight, and the glory is indeed shared.

Project management is all about people. People make the project, people make the progress, and people make the success. If you want to go far, go with people.

Would you choose to work and deliver alone on your work or you’re a team player?

POV: December fun + smashing deadlines.

The ‘end of year rush’ isn’t always the same everywhere. As a project manager who balances both corporate and non-corporate roles, I can say this for a fact. Non-corporate tasks typically includes EOY projects and events, while corporate tasks would typically include softer, gentler deliverables to end the year.

So, what do you do when one or both of these zones seem to choose the busy, hands on, and slightly chaotic route? You find a balance between both (or all!) because T’s must be crossed and I’s must be dotted!

Discovering and understanding this makes all the difference.

There is an order to everything, every organization, every business, every career, and making the best of your presence in that place or thing is highly determined by how much understanding you have of the set systems.

Hard work is only useful when it has a direction. Otherwise, it is suffering.

Beyond the Role, Beyond the Title ✨

I’ve always been drawn to one question: How do we make things better?
Not just incrementally better. Meaningfully better.

That curiosity led me to management. Not for the title, but for the opportunity to drive impact through people and systems that actually work.
Managing teams isn’t about authority; it’s about creating environments where potential becomes performance. It’s about identifying what’s working, what’s not, and having the courage to course-correct, while making progress still. It’s about driving growth; not just in revenue or output, but in capability, confidence, and culture.

Whether I’m managing projects, building processes, or aligning teams toward a shared goal, the principle stays the same: growth is the limelight. When growth is the focus, everything else falls into place (eventually 😅).

Career transitions aren’t about abandoning what you built; they’re about taking those hard-earned lessons and applying them to new challenges. And here’s to doing just that!
Different stages. Different audiences. Same commitment to showing up better than yesterday.

The roles may change, but growth? That’s the limelight that never dims. 💡
