he’d been at school all day. football after school but still wanted me to take him to hit. mama doesn’t pass up time with her “baby”. while we were there a dad came up to me and said “thank you for showing up for him. wish my mom would’ve done that for me.” all kids deserve the best parts of us, even in the day-to-day. in the end, it’s a win-win. by @nngingrich
