Motherhood is strange like that.
I can want a break and miss him while I’m taking it.
Feel exhausted and incredibly grateful.
Miss parts of who I used to be and still love who I’m becoming.

The one where Ky turns 6 months. 🥹❤️

I honestly wish I could press pause on time, or slow it down just a little… but I’m also loving watching you grow, discovering your little personality, and getting to know the person you’re becoming.

Six months of loving you, and a lifetime more of loving you to go.

Also… the balloon was definitely the star of the photoshoot. 😂🎈

This has become one of my favourite rooms in our home.

I remember sitting here while I was pregnant, imagining what he would look like and dreaming about the moments we’d share in this little space.

Holding my baby today feels like living inside a prayer I once whispered so quietly to God.
I think about the woman I was while waiting, hoping, believing… and I just want to hug her and tell her it all worked out beautifully 🥺❤️

At the start of the year, we welcomed our son to the world.
