Birds dying under bushes,

They just tryna stay warm,
but they freezing, dying slow —

People out here acting blind,
y’all ain’t wanna build homes for the birds?
I see them shiverin', freezing,

So here’s my wish for you,
may your kids freeze on the streets,
like some damn homeless souls,
just out there dying.

This for the government,
fucked up system, don’t give a damn about life,
don’t care ‘bout the birds out here,
shit’s sinking like the Titanic, bro,
cold water’s rising,
and you still walkin’ ‘round,
with your blind ass.
Nature’s killing,
and y’all too numb to even see it.
How fucking hard is it to make a damn shelter?
Throw some heat in that bitch,
make sure they sleep warm,
nah, y’all sleepin' on that shit.

That thought hit me last night,
man, I don’t even know how to use a hammer,
but damn, wish I could build a fucking house for them birds,
make a spot for ‘em,
but nah, life’s a nightmare,
and I’m just a mute out here.
Like they don’t even exist,
where they at, in the cold.
Winter, frozen to death,
they singing, talkin’,
and then just fading,
dying in silence,
like they ain’t even matter.

Yo, what’s the damn problem,
y’all got money,
but can’t build no real homes for animals?
You ain’t got no ideas?
Can’t make a little house with a greenhouse,
make it warm?
