Georgia, what an absolute revelation you were!🇬🇪

Some pictures from our stay in Tbilisi and our trek from Mestia to Ushguli, a 70 km trail that took us 4 days to hike and brought us to 3000 meters, up in the mountains.

Throwback to last August -
Studies on Crossing Lines, created in collaboration with Composer Omer Barash and the amazing @duo_alto @noa_mick @anat_nazarathy
.
.
*Studies on Crossing Lines* is a five-chapter audio-visual performance combining music for flute, saxophone, and electronics with responsive generative visuals. Inspired by the Cairo Geniza manuscripts, the work develops a visual language rooted in typographic gestures—stroke, rhythm, repetition—evoking the presence of letters without depicting them. Developed through a continuous dialogue between musical composition and brushstroke gestures, it explores their shared duality. Awarded the Pais Council for Culture Fund @paisculture , Rabinovich Foundation & Tel Aviv–Yafo Municipality Grant @lovingartmakingart , and Supported by Columbia University. 📸 @michael_pavia_photography by @noa_mick
