Arguably my favorite muskie pic of the season thus far - fighting to hold on to her biggest fish to date. All the way from Texas, fishing in the rain, and asking just seconds before this mid 40" fish smashed her Lee Lures Chopper boatside "these things will actually eat it right here in front of you?" Water explodes, she screams, and I reply "yep" 🤣. First muskies are the best muskies, and a first fish boatside on topwater with ridiculously perfect timing absolutely doesn't get any better 🤘 First fish of several that beautiful, dreary day

Kicked off my fall muskie season with @erikhagan chucking some big topwater on a perfect morning. Mid conversation we were rudely interrupted when his Lee Lures Chopper XL got absolutely spaghetti slurped by this big old girl coming in just over 4 foot. A beautiful specimen 🤌 plenty more muskie pics to come from the last month

Every once in a while I get to swing on one 💪 A beautiful mid-40 topwater fish from a few weeks back that followed the playbook to a "T".

As we get into the tail end of the 2026 season, I also want to say THANK YOU to everyone who spent time in the boat this year - some incredible days on the water, unforgettable memories made, and many more to come this fall. Thank you all! Let's see what the next couple months have in store 🤘

Early fall mornings on the water are hands down my favorite - bring on the fog 🌫

Definitely a special moment for me as the person trusted to preserve this buck - only the second buck out of many thousands that I've put my hands on here in Wisconsin with velvet still on it. Definitely a little tricky to keep things together during the cleaning process, but man is it unique. Congrats to @thejimbo_slice for arrowing this guy opening weekend 🤌 The doors are open for euros - located in the Madison, WI area. DM for info 🤘

Just before the water got too hot, the topwater bite was on fire 🔥 Special congrats to Erik for landing this thicc 4-footer on the Lee Lures Chopper XL. I absolutely LOVE the way big fish don't mess around when they eat on top - full commitment 🤘

Well, my kid finally caught his first fish at 3 years old 🤘 However he may have set the bar pretty high with his first fish being a 10" bluegill 🤣 I don't usually post much personal stuff on socials, but this was too awesome not to share.

A quick video from a few years back testing a prototype Lee Lures topwater - highlighting how important it is NOT TO SET THE HOOK until you FEEL THE WEIGHT OF THE FISH! Topwater muskies are difficult to pin, and the number one mistake I've seen over a decade of guiding for them is setting the hook too soon. This fish took 2 shots at the bait before actually grabbing it. Wait for the weight, then send it home 🤘

Switching from inland trips to salmon trips is definitely a logistical circus - staying organized is incredibly important. My previous flasher/fly storage situation wasn't ideal and took up a LOT of space, so this winter I bought a @justencasemn flasher box and it has been fantastic 🤘 I currently have probably close to 40 paddles in it, and it takes up very little space. Also, I didn't get asked to make this post - and I paid for it like anyone else. It genuinely has helped solve a problem, and maybe it'll do the same for you 👌
