I’ve never met a pup like Roscoe. I’m absolutely devastated to find out that we lost my lil nephew on Dec 25, 2025. He was only 5.5yrs old, but he was one of the greatest dogs of all time. He was brilliant, a little genius, an absolute heartbreaker, and a sweetheart.

His Dad, @max4cracks, was always his best around Roscoe. He gave Roscoe all the love, care, attention, baby talk, and belly pets a pup could dream of…and in return Roscoe passed all the love onto us.

Max also gave him a Harvard education. The little guy spoke English! He responded to everything you’d say. You could speak to him like speaking to a human and you could count on him to really listen. He loved to come to cafecito with me and he always knew there would be a pupaccino or a peanut butter Kong in it for him. (Sometimes both) I don’t think he ever looked up to see how much I was enjoying watching him enjoy his favorite treats.

Roscoe always did everything better than Max & me. He worked out harder, got more swol, got more tan, made more money, and got WAY more women. (Max is still trying to catch up)

Lastly, he was a ballaholic. The only thing he loved more than his friends was 🎾 and he was great at it. He moved at the speed of light and never ever tired.

We’ll miss the fuck out of you little buddy. Thanks for inspiring me to want a pup of my own and being the absolute best nephew a rando like me could ask for.

I came across this video from 2016 just now in my external mind in a folder called “Soul Fuel”. Witness my indomitable spirit.

I swear…It’s this voice inside me that keeps me going. I’m STUCK to this guy. Even when I’m grouchy. Even when I feel like a failure, I’m STUCK with this dude yelling all kinds of positive “go get it” shit at me FROM INSIDE MY HEAD.

And as a result? I’m STILL out here. (I can hardly believe it)

Since this video I’ve fallen off the fitness wagon several times. I’ve gone in circles. Lost my way. It’s unreal the amount of shit I’ve gone through since this video. (Heartbreak, abandonment, betrayal, massive financial losses) I could write books.

And yet, I AM STILL HERE. I’m proud of this spirit. I’m not embarrassed by it anymore. I feel no need to hide it, to not post it, or to hold it back. I made this video for me. It has served me well. Now, I wanted to share it with you.
