22 years around the sun and somehow it feels like I’ve only just found my mark. This past year, film stopped being just something I loved and became something I lived—long days on set, cramped rooms, and those quiet in-between moments where everything clicks and you remember why you started. To every crew I’ve had the privilege of working with, you’ve turned hard work into something unforgettable and I carry every lesson, every laugh, and every chaotic setup with me.

To my family and friends, you’re the real foundation behind every frame. None of this happens without your support, your patience, and your belief in me even when things felt uncertain. I owe more than I can put into words.

Here’s to 22: more stories to tell, more risks to take, and more memories waiting just off camera. 🎥

Some places leave a mark on your passport. Others leave one on your heart. Cannes did a little of both. ❤️‍🔥

What began as an internship became an experience I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. Every sunrise along the Croisette, every conversation between screenings, every lesson learned behind the scenes reminded me why I chose to pursue this industry. To @realadampaul, thank you for taking a chance on me and trusting me with an opportunity that once felt impossibly far away. Your belief in me made this journey possible, and I’ll always be grateful. To my incredible UNLV cohorts, @jess_ilios, @portalmusician0, and @lilymagdesyan, thank you for sharing this adventure with me. From long days to unforgettable nights, every memory is brighter because you were part of it. Furthermore, I’m deeply thankful to @americanpavilion for welcoming me, @millenniummedia and @quantifysales for allowing me to learn from such talented people within film distribution. Being surrounded by passionate storytellers/industry professionals was an education in itself, and one that no classroom could replicate. And to everyone I had the pleasure of meeting along the way, thank you for your kindness, your conversations, and your generosity. It’s incredible how quickly strangers can become part of a story you’ll never stop telling. 🙏

As the French say, à bientôt… not goodbye, but “see you soon.” I leave Cannes with a heart full of gratitude, a mind full of inspiration, and a quiet confidence that this is only the beginning. Here’s to the next chapter, and to carrying a little piece of the Riviera wherever this path leads. 🇫🇷🎬

As I look back on the past semester, I’m incredibly grateful for the sets and people that have shaped my journey in film.

To start off, it goes all back to The Vigilante, a superhero short directed and written by @krishfilm. Even though I was only on set for a single day, that experience opened doors I never expected. It introduced me to some amazing people who would later become collaborators, close friends, and lifelong connections. More importantly, it inspired me to pursue production opportunities and deepen my involvement in filmmaking.

Not long after, I had the opportunity to work on @ash_gard12 film “GRWM”, a project I had watched develop from the earliest stages of writing. Seeing a story go from an idea on the page to a fully realized production a year later was incredibly rewarding. The film explored themes of identity and turning over a new leaf, so being part of that creative journey was something special!

I also had the chance to work on @orell_sellouk film Figures in the Fog, written by @bryton.your.day. Despite the tight schedule and challenges that came with the production, it was fascinating to watch the story take shape through collaboration and determination.

Finally, I worked on my first professional film production called “Outside” that was written and directed by @boulderbushido. It was an invaluable experience that taught me so much about the industry, the craft, and the level of dedication required to bring stories to life. Especially the performances delivered by powerhouses @atomicmari, @vincent_johnc, and @sandrassuperpower as I was so immersed by their work. Plus, our DP @michael.auffant has a gorgeous eye for apocalyptic visuals and I am excited for how it turns out. It’s an opportunity I’ll never forget!

To everyone I’ve met, worked alongside, and learned from this past year: thank you. Here’s to more stories, more sets, and more unforgettable experiences ahead. 🎬

Cannes Film Festival Post… coming soon! 😊

“In a world filled with misery & uncertainty, it is a great comfort to know that in the, there is light in the darkness.” ~ Joshua Graham

Just attended the 4th & biggest #falloutfancelebration in GoodSprings, NV. What an incredible experience! Reliving memories of #fallout, the game that ignited my passion for RPGs & gaming. Huge shoutout to the team who worked tirelessly to make this happen despite the harsh weather. Also, kudos to @falloutforhope for organizing this for a great cause, @stjude. Finally met @loracainacts (Trudy, Red Lucy, Sarah), who was incredibly welcoming, and I can’t wait to dive into her book. @ryanalosio (Deacon) was absolutely hilarious and gave me a deeply meaningful answer about Deacon’s backstory that felt like real-life advice I’ll carry with me. I’ll save you that spot on the boat someday, Ryan! @thecheekyscot (Cait) instantly made me feel at home—her kindness and her insights into Cait’s arc meant so much. Thank you again for what you did during the signing, Katy; it truly made my day. Then I met @dadjessop (Paladin Danse)—wish we had more time, but it was amazing just meeting you. And of course, @courtenaytaylorla (the Sole Survivor), my childhood hero. Talking with her about the themes of loss in Fallout 4 and hearing her message about confidence and identity was unforgettable—and thank you for recording a sweet thank-you video for my mom. Meeting @wesjohnson (The Silver Shroud, Moe) was an honor I’ll always be grateful for. Michael Harvey, who did my makeup, was awesome—we geeked out about the overall experience of filming & the Fallout games. And @cameroncowperthwaite is the absolute GOAT. You’re insanely talented, & meeting you is a memory I’ll always hold onto (Shoutout to @rodluzzinyc for the awesome photos and the TV panel shoutout—you rock). Your speech on writing was incredibly inspiring for me as an aspiring writer. Furthermore, seeing @waynenewtonmrlv in the flesh was so surreal. Meeting all of you & being at FFC felt like a fever dream! Can’t wait to see what next year brings!

p.s. @waltongogginsbonafide, @aaroncmoten, & Jonathan Nolan having a surprise appearance at GoodSprings was not on my bingo card 🤯 taken in Goodsprings, Nevada by @noah_ark900

On the outside, I’m 21. On the inside, I still feel like I’m 12. 🥴

Blessed to be on this earth for a whopping 21 years & grateful to share that moment with my mom as I was her birthday gift for hers. Thank you to my amazing family that helped bring the literal champagne coast into reality as taking shots; whilst totally not being inebriated, with ya’ll was off the charts. As they say… CHEERS! 🥂

“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language… and next year’s words await another voice.” ~ T.S. Eliot 🌅

Every year comes with momentum that strides up or down to where the ride can be bumpy but fun or intriguing all the same to where you leave the year behind with lessons you’ll take to heart that shapes your journey. This year was that as it was a ride that forever changed/shaped me into a better person to where I face the new year with high might. Celebrating the occasion, I’ve concocted this lil’ recap of 2024 to look back on moments I’ve cherished, accomplished, etc. Plus, this wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for two legends from the entertainment industry that I highly admired. Special thanks to actress @thejaneperry (Diana Burnwood from @hitman_official) & actor @bryandechart (Connor from @detroit_becomehuman) for reprising their respective roles to help close out this chapter in my life with extra love as they poured so much time & effort into delivering words that’ll stick with us for as long as we walk. Grateful to my amazing family for always being the engine that helps me drive through the toughest roads & chase my dreams, my friends for being the best I could ask for (especially my Seattle fam), my coworkers for making work bearable, & any other peeps I’ve met this past year as ya’ll simply were a memorable piece of my story that will live on forever. I leave 2024 with not just a bang but with an accomplished sigh. 💪
