WORLD! CLASS! We had the pleasure of taking the founder of @jygprofishing along with his crew out on a bottom banging trip. The goal of this trip was to test out new products such as jigs and rods, as well use the already tried and true products. To say that these products work would be an understatement. This trip was filled with very quality fish. We caught a nice pile of all good-sized queen snapper, a pile of other bottom critters, and a limit of groupers to top it off. Not only did we catch a limit of groupers, but five of those groupers are some of the most sought after fish world-wide. Landing 4 marbled grouper and 1 fireback grouper in the same trip is very uncommon. Not only were they all beautiful fish, they were all very solid ones. The marbled groupers were the biggest average I had ever seen and the fireback grouper was the biggest one I have ever laid eyes on, taping out at 40 inches on the dot. This now brings the total for the year to 12 marble grouper and 3 fireback grouper. The weirdos are chewing and now is your chance to come get you one! This was definitely a trip of a lifetime, one I will remember for the rest of my life. The one you’ve been waiting for is live on my YouTube. What may very well be the craziest day of bottom fishing the world has ever seen on film. All Tackle World Record Cubera Snapper 132 pounds / State Record Black Grouper 108 pounds / State Record Dog Snapper 30 pounds in the same morning. This is a day we will all be chasing for the rest of our lives! It takes an entire team of anglers dialed in, a whole lot of luck, great weather, the finest aluminum boat on the planet, and years of preparation! We ended this trip with a pending world record cubera snapper weighing in at 131.5 lbs, a 74lb cubera snapper, a state record black grouper at 109lbs, and a state record dog snapper at 30lbs! All of these fish were caught on a @bkkhooks_americas monster circle!We were fortunate enough to have an awesome camera man @sn00kin to video this entire trip and put a world class YouTube video together. Bottom Banging!!Bottom fishing has been on fire lately! The best part is the variety. You truly never know what you will bring up from the bottom- one drop a fireback grouper, the next could be a trigger fish, tile fish, scamp, or something unexpected like a black grouper or mystic grouper. That’s what makes this fishery something very special! The summer is heating up and so is the fishing. So far this year we have been very blessed to boat many cool critters including 4 dog snapper, 3 black grouper, 3 marble grouper, 2 cubera snapper, 1 fireback grouper, 1 mystic grouper, and 1 african pompano. Huge shoutout to @bkkhooks_americas for making the best hooks on the market! These hooks have got us to stay connected with many world class fish! by @noah_callais

Cool Critters!! The Gulf of America never ceases to amaze me- it is such a unique place to go fishing and we are blessed to have it in our backyard. The vast amount of beautiful and interesting animals that inhabit these waters is incredible. Every day on the water is a new adventure and another opportunity to catch something very special. We were fortunate enough to land a beautiful and rare little Mystic Grouper this week- something you don’t see very often in our area. This fishing season has been one to remember, and it is still not over yet. Breathtaking….Breathtaking is the simplest way to explain the state of Alaska. The views- the landscape is absolutely beautiful, pictures nor words can do it justice. It’s simply amazing to witness the vast amount of landscapes and vegetation the state has to offer. The fishery- the diverse fishery makes this place a true bucket list destination for hard core fisherman. From the multi-salmon species filled rivers, to the diversity of unique offshore fish, the fishing was nothing short of special. Every day in this state was a memory of a lifetime. From limiting out every day on salmon in the rivers, to limits of halibut and rock fish both days on the Gulf, to a five mile hike through the mountains to view the Grewingk Glacier, to seeing the abundance of wildlife in their natural habitat, every moment was truly special. Everyday on the Gulf is a new adventure and surprise, you never know what to expect. Every day is totally different, some days the fish cooperate and other days is a humbling and learning experience. The beauty of each and every animal living out there is amazing which makes them special in their own unique ways. It is always such a rewarding feeling getting back to the dock with happy customers and a pile of meat.
