@uncsadance Ballet Emerging 26: “In the Foreground” 🥁 by me
.
Very grateful for the opportunity to share my work on stage. I couldn’t have asked for a better duo to work with. Lilly and Erin gave what the piece required and they made it their own. I had a big smile on my face both nights, watching them utilize each other’s energy on stage. They definitely emerged for sure. 🫶🙂‍↕️

NOAH BRAUN (He/Him) is a local from Durham, NC, where he started training in ballet and modern dance at the Raleigh School of Ballet in 2016. In 2022, Noah attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts’ high school program for classical ballet. Continuing his education at UNCSA, he is striving towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts completed in the Spring of 2026.

While attending the university, Noah has trained with renowned faculty Mikhail Tchoupakov, Ilya Kozadayev, Phillip Broomhead, Fernando Carrillo, and others through ballet, Horton technique, composition, dance and music studies, and ABT National Curriculum
Training.

Before and during his attendance at UNCSA, Noah has been a guest artist with Carolina Ballet, Greensboro Ballet, and Goldsboro Ballet. Being able to perform in familiar ballets such as Firebird, Macbeth, Sleeping Beauty, The Rite of Spring, and The Nutcracker, he embodies each role with much intention and delight. Noah has also performed works choreographed by Robert Garland and Tom Gold.

Throughout his education, Noah has been awarded several scholarships to enhance his training and performance opportunities. He hopes to one day utilize his diverse artistry, love of music, and singing in the world of musical theater.
