Father,
It was an absolute privilege to go to the very land that you gave a promise to Abraham long ago. The blessing was not limited to just land, but rather to a people to be a blessing to all the nations through your chosen people. You delivered your people from slavery. Dwelled among your people in the tabernacle, then the first temple. But fallen into sin and idolatry over and over again, the temple is destroyed and your people are taken to Babylon and Assyria- into Exile. Longing for God to raise up another prophet like Moses. Longing for God to rescue them again. When will it end? Israel is dispersed throughout the known world. Some would come back, and rebuild the temple in the time of Ezra and Nehemiah, but would you dwell there once more? With the threat of the Greeks and then the Roman Empire, when was the end of Exile? Where is this prophet come to deliver His people once more? Nobody would have thought that you would become a man. You took on flesh and dwelled among us. Oh, the insurmountable love that you have for your people to become a man. But not just any man. A man that was born of a virgin and born without sin, empowered by the Holy Spirit. Jesus of Nazareth is that man, who walked, taught, and dwelled in the land of Israel. The land that bore the people he came to save, he called twelve men to change the world. He healed lepers, cast out demons, gave sight to the blind and so much more, that not even all the books in the world would be able to contain. Jesus called the outcasts and the poor of society, to be a part of the kingdom. He was crucified, died, and buried. Three days he rose from the dead in the body. He is not dead but alive! FCA Sports Camp brings me joy every single year. I am so incredibly thankful for the opportunity every year to make new friends and teach the game of baseball. It has been a blessing to be apart of such a great community of leaders and most importantly spread the good news of Jesus!! 🪂

Good News! There is a king who was dead, but now is ALIVE! Jesus is Risen! Jesus calls us to enter into the unfolding drama of scripture and the transformative nature of the gospel to truly change not only our own lives but that of others. He says in Matthew 25:35-36:
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
The transforming love of Jesus reshapes all of us to participate in the continuous unfolding acts of God.
The gospel is truly good news when we become good news people! Live out the grace and mercy that was displayed on the cross! :)

It is constantly a blessing to serve at FCA Sports Camp; each year I am surrounded by incredible campers, staff, and huddle-leaders. A week that is dedicated to being empowered by the Spirit through the risen Jesus to the glory of the Father to bring about God's kingdom, on earth as it is in heaven! First bullpen of 2025! Sat 83-84mph in this bullpen of two 20 pitch innings. Hit a new PR since my injury of 85.3mph! Hoping to be sitting 85-86mph in lives next week. Leaving to travel back to @bupilotsbb to play this spring! big thanks to @dr.linville.dpt for guidance through pt to get to play this spring! It was a joy to serve this past weekend at leadership camp!! I am so thankful for these young leaders and I am so hopeful for the body of Christ because of them!
