Day 76
Lebanon & Indianapolis, IN
DCI World Championships Semifinals

You know what I realized today? Scores don’t matter when the judges have no idea what the fuck they’re doing. So fuck the scores and fuck the judges.

I’m a goddamn finalist.

I’m gonna leave it all on the field tomorrow because tomorrow is about me, not about some fat stupid shit sitting in the box popping a random number onto a sheet. I’m gonna march the hell out of my last show ever because I earned it and I deserve it.

Also ageout ceremony and Phantom Alumni Corps were awesome, and I definitely am not gonna be bawling my eyes out in every picture from the ageout ceremony.

Day 74
Lebanon, IN
Rehearsal Day at The Farm

Final rehearsal day ever. Final time playing Battle Hymn with the full hornline. Lots of other finals that I don’t feel like thinking about right now. Three days left. Three performances. That’s it.

Day 73
Lebanon, IN
Rehearsal Day at The Farm

Last first day at The Farm. The tape from the hat came off and I’m very happy with the result. Tomorrow is my last rehearsal day ever. Couldn’t think of a song from today so I’m pulling out a banger for those who know ball.

Day 72
Lexington -> Winchester -> Lebanon, IN
DCI Kentucky (88.85)

Pretty crappy rehearsal followed by a good run score-wise at the show. Currently on the last real bus ride of the season to our final housing site of the season. The end is here. The Farm is impending.

Day 71
Uniontown -> Lexington, KY
Rehearsal Day

Weird day. Ensemble turned into a subs block because of rain, and our last walmart stop of the summer happened.

Day 70
Uniontown -> Bethel Park -> Pittsburgh -> Uniontown, PA
Pittsburgh Free Day

Last free day until the eternal free day in the sky. It’s finals week. One week left.

Also there’s no photo evidence but the snake peed on me like half a second after this picture was taken.
