Last night was soooo good 😆❤️ Thank you so much to everyone who came out and showed love. We had a killer time on stage and it felt so good to be back

There are certain sounds in life that don’t just echo. They open doors in your soul.
Bob Weir was one of those sounds. Last Saturday the world lost a true musical guide, a rhythm shaper, a storyteller, and a spirit that carried the Grateful Dead’s heart for over six decades 🕊️💀🌹

I remember the first time I heard them. I was 16 when @parkerheiden put me on, and it felt like more than music, it felt like a calling. We then went to see @deadandcompany live in Utah, and that wasn’t enough. So we did what curious kids do and chased the feeling. Snuck out of state to Denver while my mom was in Florida, living off adrenaline and belief. She didn’t find out for a few years. It felt like choosing freedom for the first time.

Last year, on a total whim, I went to see Dead & Co at the Sphere by myself. Standing there watching Bobby on that stage, it hit the same way it did when I was a kid. Freeing. Inspiring. Like life suddenly felt bigger and more possible than the everyday.

The music gave me permission to explore my own mind, chase my own dreams, and pick up a guitar with no fear. I’m grateful doesn’t even start to cover it.

Thank you, Bobby, for the roads you opened, the love you spread, and the community you helped build. I’m holding that energy with me always. 🤍⚡

The Year of the Snake taught me how to shed skin.

This year I lost a job I thought was meant for me.
Lost a “friend” I thought would be around forever.
Lost money. Lost confidence. Lost pieces of myself I didn’t even realize I was holding onto.

But I never lost my drive.
I never stopped trying to grow.
I never stopped showing up for the people I love.

And in return, I felt so much love this year. I witnessed it too.
I watched my mom marry my stepdad after more than 15 years together, and it reminded me that real love is patient, steady, and worth believing in.

Somewhere in all of that, the universe answered back.

I traveled to places that changed me. Spain. Mexico. Hawaii. New Orleans.
I spent more time with my family than ever.
I found a new job that truly sees and values my work.
And most importantly, I found the love of my life, Gabby and her beautiful daughter Evalon 🤍

I’m learning that to gain what you want, you have to let go of what’s weighing you down. Even when you don’t think it’s baggage. You make space, and life fills it in ways you could never plan.

To every friend and family member who kept me going when things felt heavy, thank you. You made this year magical when it easily could have gone the other way.
