sometimes you get some valuable wisdom from your coach. sometimes you get corrections. 90% of the time we're just making noises while you're working out a combo.

Behind the Curtain with @noahfloods . 🥊

Noah is one of @myodetox Body IQ Ambassadors who lives what we believe and inspires what we do. Noah is a boxing coach and mental health advocate. He’s in for a posterior chain tune-up as he prepares for the NYC Marathon. Today’s session was about creating more length through the posterior chain and giving his body the movement options it needs to perform at a high level.

Not the result I trained for, but more validation in the community than I ever could've imagined. Thank you to everyone who made it out and supported, from hugs, yelling, emergency gummy bears, or just a text of good luck at any point. Together we raised over 4500 dollars and reminded each other that being a New Yorker is rooted in celebration of diversity, overcoming adversity, and lifting each other up.

I hope we don't lose that.

Special thanks to my team of support on and before race, sorry if I missed anyone but hopefully I'll get you next year ;)

@lexicution3r my training partner who I am so immensely proud of
@dalenl for letting me bother you the whole way
@jessica_margulies and @vicki_chimenti for the most needed hugs and constant support across boroughs

@anika_buchanan @em_motill @ariannaeserpe for chasing me all over with a megaphone

@sbrill24 for keeping me hype and being an inspiration as an athlete

@mrbrettgordon for the multiple calls and texts and advice all year long

@juliawerth for being the inspo for why I even signed up with an amazing charity

@megantomei @youmeenalot2me for our s*icidal groupchat

@alissayi @lauren_lazarus @allistrauss for the confetti and booing

And of course my mom and dad for being there to keep me lifted after being heartbroken @mbreymeier @abreymeier taken in New York, New York by @noahfloods
