I admire fathers. Even the “bad” ones. Because there was some point, even if it was for a second, that they envisioned what life would be if they were one of the “good” ones. I love my dad. We have a lot in common. But pain has been familiar in our relationship. The older I get, the more I move on from those aches. Not everyone has that luxury. Here’s to dads, kids of dads, and all the stories in between. by @noahfmata

AN EPIGRAPH ON KINGDOM

In my senior year of college, I read two personally pivotal works. One of which was “The Word Kingdom in the Word Kingdom” by Noah Eli Gordon. While a fairly technical work, I took it as a way to really respect the world of nuance, especially when it comes to words. Words are PREGNANT with meaning.

Like the word “Kingdom”. It has carried so much historical weight for me, for my faith tradition, and many I love.

This one is dedicated to the people who dreamed with me. We did something really special. It didn’t last as long as we would have liked, at least my time in sharing in it, but it was meaningful, artful, and worth every moment. There’s more, always more to see. by @noahfmata
