Well, September came and went pretty quickly! Back to school and before we know it, I’m already planning the October half term 😄

I’ve been making the most of the September sunshine, where the small wins mean getting the washing out on the line — before the airer lives rent free in our house for what feels like forever during winter 🫠☀️

We wash the school uniforms in @kitandkinuk eco-friendly laundry detergent and fabric conditioner. Fresh Linen is my go-to scent — subtle yet distinctively divine 🌿🧺 I switch between this one and Lavender & Sandalwood for our bedding — dreamy!

And there’s something very satisfying about a freshly washed uniform, a sunny washing line and knowing you’re all set for another school week 🤍

Summer holidays nearly over, getting sorted for back to school. One of many to-do’s on our list was a little bedroom sort out 🧺

It was an easy win getting Myla involved when she realised she could use the spray 😅 Anyone else’s little one love getting involved with the spray bottle or is it just mine?!

With @kitandkinuk, I have no worries about Myla getting stuck in and helping me clean. Their products are non-toxic and made with natural ingredients.

I do love these little moments with her though. A bit of calmness, just the two of us, chatting away as we tidy, hearing all her ideas about where she wants everything displayed 🥹

Holiday mode 🌞

It’s been a busy summer break juggling work, camps and playdates so a week in the sun was needed. Of course timing it perfectly with a heat wave but somehow the heat hits different abroad 🤗

Highlights:
🦞 Building crayfish forts on the beach
🌙 Attempting make-shift pin hole boxes for the eclipse
🧀 Cheese board every night
💫 Watching shooting stars with Noah at midnight
🛴 Using Noah’s scooter most the week while he cycles
🥖 fresh baguettes daily
🦦 Spotting an Otter family in the lake (at least we thought they were otters)
🦔 A small hedgehog coming to say hello on the last night at the lodge

She’s really in her “can I help?” phase at the minute, and now she’s a little older it’s actually become really sweet. 🥹

It used to mostly be when I was cooking, but lately she’s wanted to get involved with all the everyday jobs around the house too. Whether it’s helping with the washing or spraying down the sides, she’s always so proud of herself afterwards and chuffed with herself today 💛

We’ve been a @kitandkinuk household for a while now, and I love knowing the products she’s helping me use are non-toxic, gentle on skin and kinder for our home too 🌱

We’ve been using the Lavender & Sandalwood Laundry Liquid and Fabric Conditioner recently, and they honestly leave everything smelling so fresh without being overpowering. I use the All Purpose Cleaning Spray every day because it just makes those little wipe-down jobs so easy.

I know these moments won’t last forever, so for now I’m soaking up every “Mummy, can I help?” while I still can 🤍

A bank holiday weekend with zero plans quickly turned into a filled weekend at the county fair and farm. Impromptu weekends are always the best! 🫶🏻

A little bedroom refresh 💛

We’ve added the Croft bedside table from @great_little_trading_co to Noah’s bedroom and it’s made such a difference. His reading lamp finally has a proper home (no more balancing on the bed) 🤭 he loves being able to choose his own books at bedtime — a little boost of independence 📚
