The pizza & chill part of our favorite day spend in Berlin

Our time in Abu Dhabi began and ended in the desert. To get acquainted and get a real sense of the place, Noah planned a surprise trip to Al Khatim on day one.

And what an introduction it was. Its vastness, shapes, patterns, colours, warmth — otherworldly, yet so familiar. No longer distant & faraway, but here & now. An encounter with another layer of why this landscape is so cherished by Noah, for whom Abu Dhabi and its desert are inextricably linked and connected. A reminder of what was, is and will be. Ever constant and ever changing, all at the same time.

Now I get why Dune always hits them in all the feels. Watching the films here was a whole experience in and of itself – I’ll never look at them the same.

And this is where we round up our adventure, after seven weeks of exploring all of Abu Dhabi, full circle.

In awe.
