Praise Him with the strings and the harp…” — this is what David meant when he wrote that. 🎻🎶

This was an amazing tribute to Doobie Powell, and I’m so glad my team caught every second of it. Jayden is an anomaly. 🔥 And Jamie the violinist? y’all she is TOP TIER. 🙌

Some people play drums. Chris ‘CJ’ Darden SPEAKS through them. 🥁

Every hit, every fill, every groove tells a story — and when he sits behind that kit, the whole room feels it. 🔥

This is what it looks like when talent meets dedication.

Lately, I’ve been making it a point to showcase some of the incredible talent right here in my area. I’ve been in Virginia for several years, but never really tapped into the local music scene. Over the last few months, I’ve had the opportunity to meet some amazing people who have shared their time, talent, and connections with me.

I told Chris and Mya I wanted to create some content, and they took it from there. What came together was something special—a room full of gifted singers and musicians representing Virginia and North Carolina, mixed with a few of my homies from the Midwest to help marry the sound.

🎹 Chris Talley – Keys
🎛️ Shone Williams – Aux/Playback
🎸 Laurence – Guitar
🥁 Chris “CJ” Darden – Drums
🪘 PJ Majors – Percussion
🎸 Jervis Wimbush – Bass
🎤 Mya – Vocals
🎤 Demetrius – Vocals
🎤 Lauren – Vocals
🎤 Jeremy – Lead Vocal
🎹 Kenny Matthews – Organ/Producer
🎛️Shawn Wimberly Mix engineer/ recording engineer
This is what community looks like. Different cities. Different backgrounds. One sound.

Special thanks to everyone who pulled up and made this happen. More content coming soon. Stay tuned. 🎶🔥

Ever since NAMM, I’ve been telling y’all the Hammond XK-7D was the truth.

Now I finally have the full setup, and whew… I wasn’t lying. 😮‍💨

The XK-7D is crazy direct, but paired with the 142H Leslie? That’s a different animal.

Big shoutout to Delroy and Steve for welcoming me to the Hammond family. 🔥 s/o to noahs_lenz 🎥🎥🎥📸 by @noahs_lenz
