“Ladies of the Arc” is a collective of mothers who have lost children to gun violence. The program is designed to help youth, family, and mothers address trauma that they have experienced due to violence. The Ladies gather to provide community support that provides participants with an opportunity for personal and emotional exploration through Art. ✨

For 25 years, PeacePlayers has used sport to build connection and leadership. The ONE Campaign works to ensure young people have the opportunity to survive, thrive, and lead. Noah's Arc Foundation empowers young people through sport, arts, and mentorship.

🏀✨ The first season of the Noah’s Arc Foundation Girls League is officially in the books!

Our NAF Girls League pilot season brought an incredible group of girls together. Our aim was to provide a safe space to build confidence, develop leadership skills, strengthen community, and grow both on and off the court. But most importantly our aim with this pilot season was to listen to our participants to understand where we can be of most service.

We wrapped up with an inspiring Leadership Summit Weekend filled with workshops, connection, celebration, and a reminder that the future is bright when girls are empowered to lead.

This is more than basketball. It’s nurturing confidence, strengthening community, and providing opportunity.
Thank you to UCAN, NLARA & all other partners who made this inaugural launch season possible.

Though their stories are different, there was an unspoken understanding in the room — alongside so much joy, creativity, tenderness, and strength. Art has a way of reminding us of our shared humanity. Today felt like that reminder.” — Cecilia Rodhe

Cecilia Rodhe and the Ladies of the Arc held a deeply meaningful Expression From the Inside workshop at St. Nicholas Cathedral School. Through painting and sculpture, the youth were invited to reflect on and recreate a joyful memory from home — gently reconnecting with moments of love, safety, beauty, and belonging that remain with them despite the upheaval and displacement they have experienced.

The workshop created space not only for creativity, but for remembrance, connection, and the quiet resilience that lives within holding onto joy during difficult times.
It was a beautiful reminder of the way creativity can transcend language, culture, and circumstance, creating moments of understanding and healing through art.

A heartfelt thank you to @chicagobulls @adrienneblack18, and school director Anna Cirilli, for nurturing this ongoing relationship over the years and helping make this gathering possible. We are incredibly grateful.
