Good evening, everyone!

Day 2 of the State Track & Field Championships has brought even more excitement to Veterans Memorial Field. From record breaking performances to thrilling finishes and hard fought victories, athletes have continued to put on an incredible display of talent and determination.

Here’s another photo update featuring some of the moments I’ve captured throughout today’s competition. More highlights are still to come as the championship weekend continues.

Isn’t it funny how photographers spend so much time behind the camera that they rarely end up in front of it? I’m definitely guilty of that. Enjoyed some time in Madison and figured it was finally time to document the person usually taking the photos. taken in Madison, Wisconsin by @noahstruefocus

What a way to finish!🔥

Aquinas found itself trailing 26–20 in the final quarter, but the Blugolds weren’t done yet.

With the game hanging in the balance, Aquinas found the end zone to take the lead before coming up with a huge interception by @bradyleee shortly after. The Blugolds turned that takeaway into another touchdown in the final minutes, putting up 14 points in the fourth quarter to complete the game.

A wild finish in Arcadia ends with Aquinas taking the 34–26 victory and moving to 6–1 on the season.

Let’s take a look back at Tuesday night’s matchup between Central and Onalaska!

After a 3-2 victory over the Onalaska Hilltoppers in their previous matchup on September 1, Central returned to face Onalaska on Tuesday, looking to continue its winning streak.

The Riverhawks came out strong, taking the first two sets before Onalaska battled back to claim the third. Central responded in the fourth, closing out the match with a 3-1 victory over the Hilltoppers.

THE GAME OF THE ARK!

Logan faced off against Central at UWL in a highly anticipated matchup. Both teams brought the intensity with hard hits, stiff arms, huge plays, and momentum swings throughout the game. When the final whistle blew, Logan came away with a 37–29 victory, adding another huge win to their record and improving to a perfect 5–0 on the season.

Just like that, Country Boom 2026 has come to an end!

It’s hard to believe how quickly three days can fly by. I guess that’s what happens when you’re fully invested in the moment. Long days, late nights, and just a few hours of sleep… but every second was worth it.

I’m incredibly proud of everything the media team was able to create throughout the weekend. Watching an event of this scale come to life from behind the scenes was an experience I’ll never forget, and it really challenged me to keep on growing!

Thank you @baileyjn5 for trusting me with the opportunity to be part of the team. I’m grateful for the experience, the lessons learned, and everyone I had the chance to work alongside. Looking forward to what’s ahead 🤝🏻
