For the past two years, I’ve had the greatest privilege of calling myself Kourtni Jagneaux’s boyfriend.

Kourtni is everything that is positive about this life. She is old-fashioned, caring, loving, kind, sassy, sweet, smart, and everything else in between. I’m not really sure what my life would have looked like without Kourtni, and honestly, I don’t really care either. Kourtni is someone that everyone needs in their life. Unfortunately for you, you’ll have to find your own.

It feels like yesterday when I was too shy to even say hi to Kourtni, but I’m sure glad I did. I can’t believe all the things God has done through us and for us, and I can’t wait to see all of the things the future holds for us. Times will change, people will change, prices will change, but my love for Kourtni Jagneaux will never change.

Kourtni, I love you so much, and I am so proud of you. I can’t believe it’s already been two years together. I seriously can’t wait to see all that you accomplish and all that we accomplish together. I love you with all of my heart. Here’s to many more great years ahead. ❤️

I first found love in Christ, a love that is unconditional, and in my family, a love that is incomparable. Now, I have the joy of knowing the love of someone who doesn’t have to love me, but chooses to; and I’ll never take that for granted.

Dear Baseball,

You’ve been a part of my life since I was three years old. From the moment I picked up a bat and ball, I knew I would fall in love with you. Thank you for seventeen amazing years filled with lessons, trials, memories, hardships, blessings, and so much more.
Through this game, I’ve met some of the most incredible people, played with and against some of the best competitors, and had the honor of wearing a uniform as both a little kid and a college athlete. Baseball has taught me countless lessons—not just about the game, but about who I am as a person. Since the age of three, I’ve played for 25 different coaches, alongside teammates from 22 states, 1 territory, and 5 countries. Thank you to my parents, brothers, family, every coach, and teammate for everything. I’ve been so blessed for so many years, and while moving on isn’t easy, I’m choosing to trust the Lord with what comes next.
