There is a particular state that arrives when the world outside becomes too strange to trust. When the news reads like mythology. When the distance between where you were born and where you now stand feels less like geography and less like exile, and more like the space between sleeping and waking – that trembling threshold where you are no longer certain which side of the dream you are on.

“Marine Lucid Dream” is the new solo exhibition by Aleksei Bordusov, a Ukranian artists known internationally as Aec Interesni Kazki – paintings, drawings, and sculptures made between 2022 and 2026 on the Atlantic island of Tenerife, where the artist has lived since relocating from Kyiv. The exhibition takes its name from that threshold state: conscious enough to know you are dreaming, no longer able to tell the dream from the world outside.

Bordusov’s oils, intimate graphite drawings, and ceramic and bronze sculptures share a mythological vocabulary that has defined his practice for two decades. But the work gathered here carries a new atmospheric pressure. Tenerife is not simply where these works were made – it is inside them. The ocean appears behind arched doorways. Volcanic light saturates the figures’ skin. The landscape has become a living character, and the hybrid creatures who inhabit these canvases move through it as though they have always belonged there.

We are excited to announce that our short documentary film “Dreaming of a Greener Future: One wall at a time” has been selected to be screened at the Atlanta Children Film Festival. This film chronicles the transformative journey of 120 young people across Europe who harnessed the power of public art to confront environmental challenges.From vibrant murals in Slovenia, France, and Serbia to workshops that deepened understanding and inspired action, this 15-minute documentary captures the creativity, collaboration, and urgency fueling the Youth Art for the Earth project.
