Here comes a bitter-sweet moment of my career. This is my last week as at my internship at WABC. In my time here, I have reported, anchored, co-produced segments and edited segments that have aired on a National Platform. When I say I LOVE NYC, this is what I mean. What does it really cost to move through New York? During my first week of orientation at @columbiajournalism, I spent a day in the subway listening to riders, workers, and the rhythm of the turnstiles — and what I found says a lot about costs, survival, and who gets left behind. This was a special news pack for me because I had not done news with just audio so I am especially impressed with what I was able to pull off with this. OH. WOW. It’s been just one week and I don’t think it’s hit me yet. But I left @pgctvnews to go to THE @columbiajournalism school for my masters program. And it’s been Nothing short of a dream come true for me! I’ve met some of the coolest people in the world of journalism and walked some of the most hallowed halls in higher education. I’m grateful.
