Still a little bit in disbelief… I’m a National Champion!

2026 IDA Nationals was an incredible time with the best team. I competed in the Introductory USDF/IDA Quiz Challenge, winning my division and the overall title with the highest score across all levels. This was completely unexpected for me and such a wonderful surprise.

I want to thank firstly my incredible coach, @mallory.chamberslane who has always been in my corner and pushes me to be better every single day. I also want to thank all of my professors at Centenary University- the knowledge you have instilled is one of the reasons I was able to be successful. Thank you to my team- none of this would mean a thing without you. Last but not least, thank you @usdfofficial for collaborating with IDA and sponsoring the Quiz Challenge- it’s wonderful to see our hard work be rewarded.

Until next year… #gocyclones 💙🌪️ by @noelle.eq

Lower Training debut ✅

I had so much fun on Bach at the season opener at Del Val last weekend! It wasn’t a ride I was fully happy with, but still brought a 64.615% and fourth place. I have so much more I can bring to the ring, and it’s time I show that.

Looking forward to Alfred 🔜

Poor Mikki just seems to have the worst luck this summer! First a bout of Anaplasmosis last month, and now we’re recovering from some mild Potomac Horse Fever. Thankfully he’s vaccinated against PHF so it didn’t end in a hospitalization.

Both just bad luck and things that can happen, but I’m grateful that we take the preventative measures we do so that these are really just a few very stressful days. At least we got to have some fun sleepovers! by @noelle.eq

That’s a wrap on sophomore year.

I’m so grateful for all of the people, places, horses, and opportunities I got to experience this year. A lot changed in just a short time- so much so that it’s hard to put it into an Instagram caption. My riding totally evolved (although there’s certainly a long way to go), I found my community and my passion through the IDA team and my place there, and continue to learn and grow in the classroom.

To my IDA seniors- I’m so proud of each and every one of you and how far you have all come. It’s been an honor watching your passion grow. I know each of you will go far in life. It’s been particularly hard knowing my amazing CoCaptain, Shelby is graduating. Shelby has been my rock as I figure out my role here, and over the year our relationship grew from a professional one to a close friendship. Shelbs- I’ll miss you and your chaotic energy so much. But as you’d say, “it’ll buff”.

I can’t believe I’m halfway through college and the best decision I ever made. Onto the next year!
