Continuing on the theme of places you can only see if you go to the middle of nowhere. Kodachrome State Park (Near Bryce Canyon, but Bryce is in the middle of nowhere) is a gem. It is quiet, beautiful, and uncrowded. Probably the lack of crowds has to do with the fact that it sits in the middle of the big three (Zion, Arches, and Bryce.)
There are spires here that reach out of the sandstone like sentries in a Lord of the Rings movie. Guarding some unseen portal to another red rocked realm. Easy to access trails including some slot canyons. And some pretty cool campgrounds (we did not stay here).

We are slowly heading to some places that are not in the middle of nowhere, but I sure do encourage you to find your own middle of nowhere, and explore the heck out of it.

We breathe the same air, have the same heartbreak, and share so much in common. Can’t we just get along and fix the broken stuff.

Exploration is sort a part of us. But sometimes you need a different vehicle to explore from. We were so excited to get the family together in Seattle (old home town) and go on an Alaska cruise together.

With some of living on the road, some in the south, and some in Europe it was no small task. But we had an amazing time. Quick photo dump of some of the beauty we were able to see.

On various weekends through the summer a group called Circles in the Sands creates walkable labyrinths at Face Rock beach in Bandon Oregon.

We had the pleasure of walking two of their creations. It is a beautiful place without the labyrinth, made even more special by the labyrinth.

There is something to slowing down and walking a creation that is impermanent. Built to last just until the tide rolls in and wipes it away.

HI! We are Noelle and Jason, the aluminum tubers. We just celebrated our 5th year of full time living on the road. We would not trade the last 5 years for anything.

Seemed like a good time to reintroduce ourselves. We both are still working full time. Jason is remote working in technology. Noelle is a contemplative and a poet.

The last 5 years have taught us so much. How to live smaller, have less impact, enjoy the journey. It has also had a few bumps along the way. We started this journey with two of the most amazing Newfoundlands in the world. Brigid and Mecky. Both of them passed over these 5 years.

We also are on our second Airstream. Our first, a Flying Cloud 30’ office was lifted 40 feet in the air and thrown 400 feet from where she was parked in an EF3 tornado in Claremore Ok. (As seen half way through the reel)Thank god for a incredible storm shelter and the presence of mind to get into it. It was hard to restart from, but we did.

We are still on the road and we still feel it is our calling. We just wanted to say hi and say - make sure you follow your passion, what ever it might be. Life is short Live every minute.

We have a wanted to see Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks for along time. But the remote nature and the time needed to see these magical places has always eluded us. So with a week of vacation and a plan in hand, we finally made it happen

These parks are mystical, magical, incredible (insert additional adjectives here). Just wow. We saw a mom and two bear cubs digging for termites in a rotten log, trees that defy possibility, and rivers clear and powerful. I would almost say the same experience was epic.

We have had the pleasure of spending the last few days in Santa Barbara And the surrounding area. What a treat. This is our first time here, and it is just stunning. 💯 recommend.

Also a big recommendation on Sun Outdoors Santa Barbara. About 15 miles west of Santa Barbara proper. But a 15 minute walk to El Capitan beach.
