Last night was one of those nights that reminds you how powerful it is to get in a room with the right people. ✨

Walking into Kerri Kroft’s podcast studio for the BYLD event was such a vibe. The space was SO cool, but honestly, the energy in the room was even better.

Surrounded by so many powerhouse women business owners—women who are building, creating, taking risks, cheering each other on and making things happen. I left feeling energized and reminded that there is something pretty special about women supporting women.

Grateful for nights like this, new connections and the reminder that sometimes the best part of building your own business is the people you meet along the way. 🥂✨

After a verrrrrryyyyyy long break from the gym (Iong as in months), I started…again.

Like so many of you, I’m in a season of transition…and watching loved ones transition as well.

And in the midst of this time of transition, I’ve been working on something new—slowly but surely. I’ll be talking more about that over the next few months.

In the meantime, my heart goes out to all who are in transition of sending loved ones off to their new chapter and watching aging parents in their transition. 🫶🫶

Trying out my new Ninja Creami (it’s currently $50 off at Costco)!

My first recipe turned out ok:
1 cup vanilla protein shake
1 cup milk (I used unsweetened soy)
1 scoop Equip cinnamon roll protein powder
1/2 banana (very ripe)
Vanilla extract

I topped it with a drizzle of date syrup and chocolate chips. It was pretty yummy!

But I’m looking for more recipes to try—what’s your favorite protein combo?

Last night, I had my in-laws over for a salmon dinner. I decided to pair this Pinot Grigio with it and it was so good!

Did you know Pinot Grigio grapes aren’t actually green? 👀

They’re more of a grayish-blue (sometimes even slightly pink!)—which is where the name comes from: “grigio” means gray in Italian.

Most of the time, the juice is pressed off the skins quickly, which is why the wine still looks white. But leave those skins on a little longer… and you can get a gorgeous blush or even an orange wine.

Same grape, totally different look depending on how it’s made. 🍇✨
