One thought that keeps coming back to me is that your twenties aren’t just about finding yourself, they’re about realizing not everyone is meant to come with you. Some friendships quietly fade, some end with heartbreak, and some surprise you by growing deeper. It’s a decade of learning that outgrowing people isn’t always a failure, and neither is starting over. The right friendships begin to feel less like constant effort and more like peace, where you can show up exactly as you are and know you’re still chosen.

I think sometimes we forget how much we’re holding -grief, pressure, old wounds, unspoken fears. and we still expect ourselves to show up, smile, and keep it all together.

If you’re feeling like this too, I just want you to know you’re not alone. You don’t have to fix everything today. You’re allowed to pause. You’re allowed to ask for help. You’re allowed to just feel it.

This is your reminder: even when it feels messy and heavy, you’re still doing a damn good job.

In today’s world, we’re always told to keep going, to hustle, to do more. But rest is just as important as the go, go, go. We often forget that we can’t pour from an empty cup. Taking time to rest and recharge isn’t a luxury…it’s essential for our well-being. It’s not about doing less, it’s about finding balance. Rest allows us to reset, to heal, and to come back stronger. It’s not about being constantly on the move; it’s about honoring the space we need to thrive.⏸️ by @noeticcoaching

For two years, I felt stuck in fight or flight constantly overwhelmed and unable to relax. I slowly began to understand how stress was affecting my nervous system. These resources helped me heal and find the peace I’d been craving, giving me the tools to break free from that cycle.

Books that have helped me shift out of fight or flight mode and reset my nervous system:

1. The Body Keeps the Score – Understanding how trauma affects our body and mind.
2. Polyvagal Theory in Therapy – Practical tools to regulate and calm the nervous system.
3. Burnout – Breaking the stress cycle and finding balance.
4. The Power of Now – Embracing the present moment to reduce anxiety.
5. Self-Compassion – Cultivating kindness to heal and reset.
6. Waking the Tiger – Releasing stored tension and healing trauma.
7. When the Body Says No – Connecting emotional stress to physical health.

“Grief and loss and suffering, even depression and spiritual crisis, the dark nights of the soul only worsen when we try to ignore or deny or avoid them. The healing journey begins when we turn toward them and learn how to work with them. When we stop fighting against our difficulties and find the strength to meet our demons and difficulties head-on, we often find that we emerge from our difficulties stronger and humbler and more grounded than we were before we experienced them. To survive our difficulties is to become initiated into the fraternity of wisdom.
The real tragedy is when we refuse to acknowledge and respect our own suffering, and instead spread it unconsciously to others. As the Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel has written, "Suffering confers neither privileges nor rights. It all depends on how one uses it.
If you use it to increase the anguish of others or yourself, you are degrading, even betraying it. And yet the day will come when we shall understand that suffering can elevate human beings. we hold the power to bear our suffering well.” by @noeticcoaching

Noetic comes from the Greek word noēsis/noētikos, meaning inner wisdom, direct knowing, intuition, or implicit understanding. Noetic refers to ways of knowing beyond our traditional five senses.

Noetic derives from the Greek adjective noētikos, meaning "intellectual," from the verb noein ("to think") and ultimately from the noun nous, meaning "mind." (Nous also gave English the word paranoia by joining with a prefix meaning "faulty" or "abnormal.") Noetic is related to noesis, a rare noun that turns up in the field of philosophy and refers to the action of perceiving or thinking. The most notable use of noetic might be in the name of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, a research organization based in California that is devoted to studies of consciousness and the mind.

Use the adjective noetic to describe intellectual thought, like the triumph of the noetic part of your brain over your instincts. It rhymes with poetic, but unlike the emotional content that is usually associated with poetry, things that are noetic focus on reason. The word traces back to the Greek word for mind or thought. by @noeticcoaching

You’ll come to find out that it’s hard to believe in things until you give them life. How kindness seems so unfamiliar until you’re the one who’s actively trying to be kind to others. How dreams seem far away until you do your research and try your best. How friends seem like a foreign concept until you start to ask people to get together more often. The best things in life don’t come find you as you sit and wait. You have to go out there and decide they exist. by @noeticcoaching
