N3 cattle collar pre-sales are officially open. 👏🏻

Nofence built the first #virtualfencing system for livestock and every app evolution and collar since has been shaped by what producers actually need in the field: real containment, real durability, and a system that manages your whole operation, not just a boundary.

N3 is the next step in precision livestock management.

We’re proud to announce HerdNet – delivering improved connectivity and even simpler herd management 👏

HerdNet is a smart collar-to-collar communication system, now standard in all our 2.5 collars, that further improves connectivity – especially in areas where connectivity is a challenge. With HerdNet, one collar fetches pasture updates from the server and shares it with the other collars nearby via Bluetooth.

HerdNet is the result of our commitment to making the Nofence system more reliable and easier to use, built on feedback from farmers. Our focus has been on solving longstanding connectivity challenges, improving the user experience, and supporting responsible livestock care.

The cow that’s open but hasn’t shown it yet. The calving season stress of hoping you catch trouble in time. The guesswork of rotating pastures on a calendar instead of what the blades of grass are telling you.

Our newest N3 cattle collar and system, closes those gaps. Open cows surface before the window closes. Calving alerts arrive before challenges do. Herd activity tracked continuously, so you catch problems early while you can still do something about them proactively.

The same data shows you how your pastures are holding up, so you rotate based on real conditions. Move the herd with a tap of your finger from anywhere.

Nofence is built on 10,000+ operations and a decade of data. We’re built to last for you.

Tighter #calving windows without standing in the pasture 24/7. Forage you couldn’t reach before, back in rotation. More #grazing days, less guesswork. This is what’s possible when containment, breeding decisions and forage management live in the same precision livestock management system.

Are you ready to be a Nofence producer?

Women for Wolves founder Anjali Ranadive and team recently attended a virtual fencing workshop in Hopland with our friends at @nofence_usa, who we’re working with to explore practical coexistence solutions for ranchers in Northern California. 🐺🐮💜

We interviewed Jack DuFour, Sales Specialist with Nofence, to learn how virtual fencing could support ranchers living in wolf country. We’re now exploring its use with two Northern California ranchers who have experienced livestock losses, with the goal of adding another nonlethal tool to help keep both livestock and wolves safer. 💜

Virtual fencing also goes far beyond predator coexistence, giving ranchers more flexibility over where animals graze and supporting more adaptive land management.

Women for Wolves is a vegan-Lex organization, but coexistence means working across differences to find common ground and practical solutions that allow wolves to remain alive and wild. ☺️

This is the work we believe in: bringing ranchers, conservationists, researchers, technology, and communities together to find better ways forward. 🐺🤝🐮 Want to help us put our work into practice? Support through the link in our bio. 💜 by @nofence_usa

Heat Detection is live for our 2.5C and N3 cattle collars 🔥🔥🔥

Heat detection is the first of more to come. Our ambition is to turn data from each animal into information that helps you decide when to breed, which animals need a closer look, and how to manage your herd and land. It is the next step in expanding what your Nofence collar can help you do beyond managing grazing.

Occasionally, we get the question, “Why do you require 100 collar minimum orders?” And the short answer is: We don’t.

We truly believe #precisionlivestockmanagement should be available as a tool that any size operation can access to level up their business. We offer a 5-collar minimum order, which is the minimum number of animals required based on how our system interacts with herd instincts. When one animal tests the boundary, it’s the group dynamic that helps keep everyone safely inside.

That back pasture with no cell signal. The hillside too steep to fence. The wooded ground you wrote off years ago because managing it just wasn’t worth the hassle.

Nofence’s newest livestock management system handles it. IoT cellular and HerdNet™ backed up by satellite means the connection holds wherever the cattle herd goes with no dead zones, no dropped coverage. And the N3 cattle collar itself is built for real, rough and rugged terrain with a 10-year warranty.

99.7% containment across more than 10,000 operations. Now proven in the next generation. Find out more at www.nofence.com.
