a lil about mr. ing:

DJ ing, aka Salar Fahim, is a Brooklyn based DJ born and raised in Dallas, TX. Since first picking up Djing back in 2018, his sound has been characterized by precise blends and a diverse genre range. Dj ing’s mixes organically run through and between house, percussive electronica, leftfield techno, rap, and bass. Drawing influence from Four tet, Daphni, and Ben UFO, DJ ing enjoys crafting journeys in open format. Beyond DJing, Salar curated lineups and organizes frequent events highlgihting upcoming DJs and artists within NYC and beyond via the collective and record label, Moledro, that he runs. taken in Mothership by @nofidelity

on this day 2 years ago, the first Maja Blast was born. here are some pics from that night to commemorate!!

it was initially “Maha” bc it combined our names (Manny + Neha), but then RFK ruined that and we had to rebrand :p

we have so much love and gratitude to @mothershipbar, our guest djs, vendors, and dancers who have made this party what it is. a true oasis to experience everything our djs have to offer 🏝️

we’ve been proudly a free party since day 1. can’t wait to see what comes next
