I’ve spoken a lot about how my business was far from an overnight success, so I thought I’d show you the actual timeline👉🏼

Because when you look at social media, it’s very easy to think everyone else quit their job on Friday and built a six-figure business by Monday🫠

That definitely wasn’t my experience.

It took me time to find my feet and, even then, the journey hasn’t been linear.

Looking back now, I’m glad it happened that way because it taught me lessons I probably wouldn’t have learnt if everything had worked immediately.

Soooo many SMMs get stuck in this cycle of constantly trying more and more new things🫠

Changing their offer suite every few months.

Rebranding their feed because they’re bored of it.

Completely switching up their content strategy because one post didn’t perform.

And the problem isn’t trying new things. (bc experimenting is a huge part of growing your business!)

It’s when you’re constantly moving onto the next thing without ever stopping to properly assess what’s already happening.

Because if you don’t know what’s actually working, what’s bringing in results and what’s actually just wasting your time, you’re just going to keep chasing the next idea.

➡️ You need to regularly check in on your business so you can be intentional about where you put your time, effort and energy

Otherwise, you can end up spending the next 3 months trying things that, if you’d just stopped to properly reflect, you’d probably have realised weren’t working in the first place🫣
