🪐 DENIZ 🪐

Since my early teenage years I have been interested in the symbiotic relationship between audio and visual. In particular, playing with visual media to add extra dimensions to audio. The moment the two become harmoniously intertwined is what I strive for and where my excitement is at its highest.

Around that time I also developed an interest in analogue video- and photography. Because of my appreciation for the analogue feel, I started using digital mediums to try and replicate VHS footage, leading to much experimenting.

From my experience with this analogue-digital-hybrid, I gained insights into a plethora of other digital fields. Today, I am well versed in multiple forms of media. Combined with my experimental approach, specific eye for style, unique vision and endless toolkit I can quickly adapt and cater to your needs.

Bachelor graduation project. A fashion campaign video centered around handmade, sustainably made clothes.

🪐 EMILY 🪐

I enjoy capturing lively scenes, often with equally vibrant people inhabiting them. Whether I’m shooting in busy cityscapes, at crowded concerts or badly lit house parties, I always try to find an interesting moment between all the noise.

Having a love for everything vintage, and with analog photography being my first real artistic practice, my pictures tend to have a nostalgic feel to them. My camera of choice lately has been my tiny digital camera - elevating the diaristic approach in my work.

Other interests of mine include creative writing, cooking, fashion and (like most people in their twenties) going to parties. With summer in full effect, nightlife is too, which I love capturing the most. Above you’ll find a small collection of my favorite recent digicam after-hour moments. 🪐 MARCIANO 🪐

From a young age, I was captivated by the magic of VHS tapes. As soon as I could hold a camera, I developed a passion for filming, directing, and editing, which led me to pursue media studies and dive deep into audiovisual work.

During art school, I rekindled my love for analog art, especially VHS and glitch art, and even created an alter ego—a DJ called Marsmane—as part of a project. I carried a VHS camera everywhere, capturing the raw, gritty essence of everyday life that digital just can’t replicate.

Today, I blend nostalgia with modern techniques, using both analog and digital tools, like my Blackmagic camera. My work is all about bringing my unique style and vibe to every project, bridging the past and future in every frame.

NO-FI is an audiovisual media company based in Groningen, The Netherlands.
