From freshman year college roommates to getting to photograph one of the sweetest chapters of her life 🤍

Hanna and I lived together freshman and sophomore year, so getting to take her engagement photos this summer felt like such a full-circle moment. She and her now fiancé are high school sweethearts and have been together for 7+ years, making it extra special to document this season for them.

Hanna envisioned their session to feel chic, classy, and a little whimsical, and the Minnesota Swedish Institute was the perfect setting. The architecture, gardens, and timeless details made the most beautiful backdrop for these two.

So grateful I got to capture this chapter of a relationship that has already stood the test of time and so excited for everything ahead for them 🕊️

There’s something so beautiful about a love that feels joyful, grounded, and deeply rooted in faith. 🤎

These two met on the very first day of Samantha’s freshman year at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in Spanish class. They became partners for the entire semester and after the semester ended they found themselves living in the same building.

From the beginning, their relationship has been filled with laughter, thoughtfulness, and a deep appreciation for one another. Their faith is at the heart of their relationship and it is clear in the way they love, support, and care for each other.

Oh hey, I’m back !!! 👋🏼📸

After taking 3 months off socials, it feels good to finally pop back on. Busy season has been keeping me busy between my 9–5 internship, events, and multiple sessions — but I’m cherishing every bit of it. Getting to try out, learn, and experience so many new types of photography has been such a fun part of this season 🤍
