This was the very first hardcore record I ever listened to. I was hooked. So many years later, the ethos and principles contained in this music and movement are still observed worldwide. Happy Edge Day xxx.

It is never lost on me how incredibly lucky I am to take these little vacations to play music with my best friends. California is up next!

Manchmal schreiben sich Konzert-Ankündiger mit viel Pathos von ganz alleine. Manchmal reicht aber auch die schiere Großartigkeit der ganzen Nummer:

I don’t take much time off of work. I don’t say that as a flex of any sort. It’s a toxic remnant of my former profession, wherein I developed guilt and a phobia of taking more than a couple of days away. Anyway, it’s something I am working on and this morning was a reminder of why it’s so important. taken in Asheville, North Carolina by @noi7se

“Liam” is a message I wrote to my son in the event I didn’t make it home one day. I sat on it for years, trying to decide whether or not to record it. Prior to moving to Texas in 2019, I went into the studio and recorded guitar, bass and vocals just to get something down as a place holder. A year later, @hilltopnoise sent me a new version here and @kennoiseskunx added leads and drums to and it actually sounded like a real song. Even then, it almost never got released. I thought the subject matter was too personal and wouldn’t be received well. Then, Liam went to a painting class with his grandmother and came home with one of the coolest renditions of a skull I’ve ever seen, and it almost served as a sign that maybe his song should get put out there. After a talk with my dear friend Skip at @piratespressrecords, I decided it was time and “Liam” was released as a digital single and picture flexi disc. The reception was amazing…… but when we started playing it live, it became an even more integral part of the band. These guys have known Liam since he was a baby, and he has grown along with the band. “Liam” serves as a reminder that your art should be vulnerable at times. I’m so glad we decided to make this happen. #fbf by @noi7se
