Add a hand mask to your next lash appointment and get soft, smooth hands 𝘢𝘯𝘥 luscious, long lashes for the same amount of time. Becuase if you’re anything like me not being able to use my hands for 20 minutes would be torturous lol bring your own, or try one of ours. Moms… if you want that full, dramatic, mascara-but-better lash look without the daily effort? Carolyn at Noir Lash Lounge in Bellevue GETS IT. She understood exactly what I wanted and absolutely delivered. 🙌🏼

I get the Forced Majur set (their signature full + long look!) every 2 weeks, and I’m in and out in about 45 minutes. It’s my favorite “treat yourself but also upgrade your whole life” appointment. I walk out feeling fabulous every. single. time. If this works for your budget, it’s a luxurious treat.

I mean this is so ironic coming from me rocking the fake lashes and the fillers but I mean at least what you see is what you get (most of the time) and so many of us are already doing too much. And now we wanna throw a fake ass filter on our fake ass faces too? Chill, I said our. I’m guilty, too. But girl, we are deviating way too far from Version 0.0. A good camera? Sure. A great lens and professional edits? Why not. But changing the actual proportions and sizes of your features and blurring yourself to the point of oblivion? Too far. When you like a whole ass different person IRL like why do you need to catfish on social media to people who actually know you? Like we weren’t at the same event and all of a sudden I’m like hey who’s that girl in the pic you posted? Oh filtered you that’s who.

It’s damaging to everyone involved. Young girls develop unrealistic and distorted beauty ideals. Your own self-perception and society as a whole just expects the same nose, lips and blurry face everywhere they go. But funny thing, it’s NOT everywhere you go. It ONLY lives on social media and it’s such a contrast because the more scroll, the worse you feel about yourself because everyone looks so flawlessly filtered. Then you go out into the real world and NOBODY I mean NOBODY looks like their filter. And the girls who did get work to look like their filtered selves do NOT look good. So girly pops, just stop, your aesthetic 𝗜𝗦 the vibe 💋 by @noirlashlounge

Lips by @elenakuzmenko.pm (I got my lips blushed back in 2021 and still going strong!!!)

Other beauty tips that minimize my time spent on glam:
- microneedling (life changing tbh) + regular facials keep my complexion on so clear so putting on foundation is a breeze
- my forehead and 11s are very botoxed to keep the wrinkles away
- my brows are microbladed, while I don’t love the look of them now over time due to fading etc. they do make filling my brows in easier
- filler, yes I have some! But just to the slightest and most unnoticeable bits to my lips and to rebalance areas that have had volume loss.
