If you bought tickets for $15, we’ll automatically refund you $5.

Our 12th Annual NOIR: A SUITABLE AFFAIR would’ve been this year.

Earlier this year, we decided not to host it for Mizzou Homecoming because it didn’t feel right to encourage out-of-town alumni to return at a time when the school is not showing up the best for Black students.

We’ll continue to help create spaces for Black students currently on campus to experience the elevated, curated events they deserve. by @noirmizzou

Mizzou Grads Who Understood The Assignment! 🎓

We will always celebrate Black excellence because it will shine in whatever arena it shows up in. Especially when we show up in that arena to graduate. by @noirmizzou

SHARE THIS WITH BLACK MIZZOU ALUMNI! 📣 TAG BLACK MIZZOU ALUMNI IN THE COMMENTS.

We’re creating the largest, independently sourced database of Black Mizzou Alumni so we can create our own communication channels of support for undergrad students.

Mizzou can’t defund what they don’t control. So, we’ll govern ourselves accordingly.

The University of Missouri (Mizzou) just defunded the only Black student government in America. #LongLiveTheLegion

Mizzou used a memo the Department Of Justice called “non-binding” to strip 58 years of Black student governance from the Legion of Black Collegians (LBC / @mizzoulbc) off their books.

We are not hoping for a meeting. We are not waiting for a committee. We built our own.

We Are The Melanin Mosaic. ✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻

IRL. And in our #NOIRMIZZOU photo experience.

At the 11th Annual NOIR: A SUITABLE AFFAIR during Mizzou homecoming, all guests received a complimentary photo + sticker to peel off and add to the mosaic wall inside the art gallery.

Around 400 photos of guests made up the final NOIR mosaic art piece that looked like the event flyer in the end to show we’re stronger together.

The final piece was featured at the #BLACKGOLDBRUNCH the next day. 🔥
