I know you’ve seen videos go up and come down. Sometimes we rush things, then realize they deserve a little more time and effort. That’s what we did with this one.

You don’t have to hide behind a door you don’t belong behind or pretend to be someone you’re not. We’re all human, and God asks us to show up as who we are, right where we are in life. That’s one of the coolest parts of it.

Are we the best hunters? No. But we put in the time to scout, find the right spot, and make this hunt happen. It took three weeks of planning and a whole crew of people working together. It paid off, and we’re excited to share this little video with you.

The Alaska part is us messing with the guys who say they’re in Mexico street racing. From now on, we’re calling it “we’re in Alaska.” 😂

If you enjoy the video, give it a like and share it to your story. It helps us more than you know.

We’ve been putting the SKRE Ambush Waders to the test, and they’ve been incredible. They’re built for the rough stuff, with waterproof breathable construction, reinforced knees and seat, puncture resistant boots, and 1,200g of 3M Thinsulate insulation to keep you warm when you’re in cold water.

We’re all the way in with SKRE. We’re grateful to be on this journey together and excited for what’s ahead.

Head over to NOKgear.com to check them out. There’s a little something waiting for you automatically when you check out.

Appreciate you guys. We’re just getting started. by @nokgearusa

NOK × SKRE. Let’s get after it.

We’re fired up to announce that SKRE is officially part of the NOK crew. This is a huge opportunity for us, and we’re grateful to the SKRE team for believing in what we’re building and bringing us on board.

We spend our time in the field, pushing through the cold and whatever else the day throws at us. SKRE is the gear we trust to keep us warm, protected, and ready for the next hunt and we’re stoked to bring it to you, too.

SKRE gear is now on NOKGear.com. Go check it out, and keep an eye out for a little something extra for the NOK crew.

We can’t wait for what’s ahead. This is just the start. Never Out Killed. by @nokgearusa

To be a man
is not simply to be strong.

It is to walk into country
that does not care about your name.
To climb when your legs are tired.
To lead when no one is watching.
To carry the weight
and never make it someone else’s burden.

A man does not conquer the world
by standing above it.

He conquers himself within it.

To be a woman
is not simply to be gentle.

It is to stand her ground
when the wind says move.
To know her worth
without needing the world to name it.
To carry strength with grace
and fire with purpose.

A woman does not ask the wild
to make room for her.

She steps into it
and remembers
she has always belonged there.

And somewhere beyond the road,
where the sky grows wider
and the world becomes honest,
we remember what we are.

Hunters.

Not because we hunger for death,
but because we understand life.

When an animal falls,
we do not stand above it as conquerors.

We kneel beside it.

We feel the weight of what was taken.
We give thanks for what will be carried home.
For the meals.
For the memories.
For the life that now becomes part of ours.

And beside us stands another animal.

One born with the wild burning inside.

A dog that breaks the ice,
crosses the current,
searches the cover,
and brings back what we could never reach alone.

We call it work.

But to them,
it is purpose.

They give us their strength,
their instinct,
and their trust.

In return,
we give them our patience,
our protection,
a place beside the fire,
and a hand on their head
when the years begin to slow them down.

We do not own that kind of devotion.

We are entrusted with it.

Maybe that is what the wild teaches us.

Being a man is not about power.
Being a woman is not about permission.
Being a hunter is not about killing.
And loving an animal
is not about what it can do for you.

It is about responsibility.

To the land beneath your feet.
To the life placed in your hands.
To the people walking beside you.
And to the animal
that would give everything it has
just to make the journey with you.

None of us were made
to walk this world alone. by @nokgearusa
