Recap of year 1 at Penn State in 24 seconds✅:

A couple things I learned as a first year D1 athlete⬇️:

1. Listening to coaching is everything. Take everything in that your coach has to say. Through the highs and lows your coach is always there for you to help you. Thank you @b1ghomie_ for everything this year and for the years to come. Only up from here.🙏
2. Be confident in yourself. You could be the best in the world, but if you’re not confident and can’t stay calm under pressure, things probably won’t go your way in a competition.
3. Take in every moment. Yeah, some competitions might not go the way you want them to, but that shouldn’t determine your mood for the rest of the meet/weekend. Competing at a high D1 level means you’re around many elite athletes just like you. You only get one life, so why get so hard on yourself after a bad competition and hideaway when you could be supporting your team and taking in memories that you might never get to experience again? Being a team player is more valuable than anything.

Some Achievements🥇:

1. New PR of 74.72m (245’-2”) (HS PR: 67.11 ~ 220’-2”)
2. 2nd All-Time in PSU Javelin History📖
3. 4th Place Finish @ the Big Ten Conference Meet as a True Freshman👀
4. 2026 U20 USATF National Champion🥇
5. Earned a spot to rep. Team USA on the global stage at the 2026 World U20 T&F Championships🇺🇸

2026 World U20 Track & Field Championships🌎🇺🇸

It was an honor to represent Team USA here in Eugene, Oregon. Moments like these are once in a lifetime, and I’m forever grateful for all the people who have helped reach this milestone. 64.07m isn’t the result I had hoped for, but was good enough to place 17th. This meet for me wasn’t just about placement, but about getting this high level, world-class championship under my belt as experience for the future. Competing with the best in the world in your event is hard, and to do so successfully is even tougher. To not only represent Team USA, but also Penn State Track & Field, The United States of America, and my hometown, Corry, Pennsylvania, is nothing but a privilege. It’s only up from here.✌️⏳

Made a quick weekend trip down to State College to get a good training session in with @b1ghomie_ 🫡, really slowing it down and focusing on technique in preparation for the 2026 World u20 Championships. Not only did he give me great coaching points, but also whipped out his dance moves👏🕺

Had a great time competing at the 2026 American Jav Fest. Not my best performance but still a good step in the right direction leading into the 2026 USATF World U20 Championships. 🌎😎

A huge thank you to @barry_krammes for putting together this awesome meet as always, and shoutout @briggsy.throws for the sick shot from the end of the runway💯👏
