A college student coming back to an old hobby. I want to see what I can create. ✍️✍️

POSTS STORIES REELS

Hey guys! I'm feeling like my poetry is starting to lose a bit of its quality, and top of that, my consistency hasn't been very...well, consistent. Therefore, I'm gonna try posting three per week instead of every day, and I'll see how that goes. Bare with me! Thank you guys for all your support 🙏

Finishing up classes and starting finals. A feeling of peace and dread. Such is life.

Take care of yourselves, I'll be back.

Guys, if you have too many things going on, too many distractions and quick pleasures, you lose what you have been working at and disciplining yourself for. Look at me, my consistency has been shaky. I'm gonna work on some of those kinks and the ball will get rolling.

Do what makes you happy, but don't rely on dopamine boosters.

Sincerely,

me.

I can get lost in my own thoughts like a river that leads to an open body of water, which is being carried by the current of a whirlpool.

Sometimes you can drown. by @nolans_mind

Time is interesting. I personally think I have more time than time actually allows. I feel guilty when I take it slow, and even more so when I wait for something to happen inside of that slowness.

Time can be a friend, an enemy, a punishment, or a tool. It's up to you how to interpret and use and be used by time.

Better luck next time...

For today, I decide to once again pay a visit to my heartache. You can easily get caught up with negative thoughts and nostalgia, and then you're completely under their control. Stop sharpening your thoughts and feelings into weapons. You deserve to have peace.

Given that spring has already sprung and the petals are now mostly laying in a puddle of browning rain water, and how my mind is slowly changing for what I hope and somewhat know to be better the better, I figured I would post two haikus about nature, the beauty of it, and how just like the seasons change, so do people.

Just saw a few ads online about this guy who has been pitching his education program geared towards weight loss and how people have come against him calling him a scam artist. Then, in class, the last few days, my professor had been discussing the nature of the job market and how "progressive" my generation is. Yes, the generation of TikTok and trying to get famous to make money. Operating in a system that can take advantage of such operations.
Hypocrisy is funny, so that must mean everyone's a comedian.

Just finished the book Exit West by Moshin Hamid, a very human and quick read. This made me think of life itself, my life and the lives of those around me. So I wrote about it. Positivity can be and often is a welcome change of inspiration.

To end today's flooding of posts, I chose a poem that I wrote earlier this semester that I wrote with dread and worry flooding my mind. I've written many poems on heartache, fear, and frustration. This one happens to be in the same breath of the previous two posts.

Cheers, I'll see you tomorrow.

Hi! It's me again. For my second round of penance, this is the other poem I wrote for @thetellermagazine in which this is an attempt to express the unwavering amount of both happy and sad memories, and the dread I feel when I realize I can no longer go back to them.

I hope you enjoy.

Sorry for not posting the last few days! Been running around and all that. To make up for it, I'll be posting three poems today, so watch out for that.

This first one is one of two poems I wrote for @thetellermagazine which has to do with this abstract daydream that I experience daily. It's a POV into what I'd imagine being a college student in 1980s was like. I hope you enjoy.
