current progress of our vertical cedar siding install. golden hour

#designbuild #NOMADer by @nomaddesigncollaborative

a recap of our insulation install on our Cape Cod home. a concerted effort was made to eliminate as much spray foam from this home as possible and source local building materials whenever we could. for this reason we sourced 95+% of the insulation from @timberhp.insulatebetter

foundation = graphite polystyrene
exterior insulation (wall + roof) = timber board
wall insulation = timber batt + timber board
roof insulation (rafters) = timber batt
ceiling insulation = timber fill

another design criteria for this element of the project was being able to self-perform the installation rather than sub’ing out to one of our typical partners. the installation of all 3 of these products was easy peasy

WIP ~ some millwork installation at our @jessitecht project on the Cape by @nomaddesigncollaborative

with so much going on in the world right now that can bring us down, we’ve been making a conscious effort to be positive regularly and recognize the things that bring us UP.....like the fact that we're working with 3 incredibly talented entrepreneurial women on 3 different projects.

a few in progress shots from each one:

1) new gallery space opening this week for @praise.shadows.art
2) new storefront opening Spring 2026 for @bostongeneralstore
3) interior home renovation for @jessitecht

this end of the island faces our formal dining room, so we wanted things to be buttoned up until they didn’t need to be. many options for storage over here
