You’re missing out on 75% of Finland if you only visit in winter. 👀👇🏼

Most people only look at Finland when it’s covered in snow. But limiting this place to just one season means missing out on some of the most surreal landscapes on earth.
Here is what it actually looks like to travel here year-round:

❄️ Winter: Pure polar magic, snowmobiling, and frozen wonderland vibes.
⛷️ Spring: Epic sunny snow days, the best skiing conditions, and roaring waterfalls.
☀️ Summer: Endless days that never end, floating in crystal-clear lakes, and midnight sun festivals.
🍁 Autumn: Fire-colored forests, crisp morning hikes, and absolute peace in nature.

✨ Pro-Tip for Aurora Chasers: Don’t limit your Northern Lights trip to just the winter months! The lights are active across Autumn, Winter, and Spring. 😍
The truth is, there’s no “wrong” time to visit—only different adventures.

2026 is officially the year of the Aurora! 💚✨

We’ve already seen the northern lights so many times this month, including some massive geomagnetic storms! 🤩 If the Auroras are on your bucket list, 2026 is your year to get to Finland. 🇫🇮
We are in the Solar Maximum, a peak in the 11-year cycle where solar activity is at its highest. This means:

✨ Rare Colours: Pinks, reds, and purples are much more common.
✨ Widespread Magic: Intense shows visible all across Finland, especially in Lapland.
✨ Frequency: The “aurora window” is open almost every clear night!

Don’t wait until the 2030s for the next peak—2026 is the ultimate time to chase the magic! ❄️🤩💚

✨ SHE SAID YES! 💍✨

There is nothing quite like the magic of a lifetime promise made under the dancing Finnish Northern Lights. 🇫🇮💚

When this groom-to-be first reached out to us, he had one dream: a perfect Aurora proposal. As locals, we watched the skies closely to find the ultimate moment. Last night, Mother Nature smiled on us. The clouds cleared, the green lights danced across the sky, he asked, and she said YES! 🥂

We made sure they had some delicious snacks to celebrate the moment right then and there under the Arctic sky. 🌌
This is exactly why we love what we do. At Nomade Tourism Finland, we pour our hearts into every single detail and do our absolute best to make your dreams happen.
Wishing this beautiful couple a lifetime of love and adventure! 🥰

💭 Are you dreaming of a one-of-a-kind proposal, or perhaps moments of magic under the Northern Lights? 💚 We are here to make it happen. Let’s design your perfect story 😍

There’s something so special about autumn mornings in Finland — the crisp air, the quiet forests, the colours, and that soft morning light finding its way through the fog. 🍂🤍

And this morning was definitely one of those moments when you just want to stop and take it all in. 🌅

Finnish nature, you never disappoint. 🇫🇮🍂

Send this to someone who needs a little nature escape today. 🌿🤍😌

A different perspective on Suomenlinna. 🇫🇮

One of my favorite things about exploring new places is seeing them from a completely different angle. From above, Suomenlinna looks like a little world of its own, surrounded by the Baltic Sea.

August in Finland isn’t just a month; it’s a quiet transition. It’s the fleeting moment where the endless daylight of summer holds hands with the cool, grounding peace of autumn 😌

From above, the landscape looks like a shifting canvas. The fields have turned into vast seas of warm gold, ready for harvest. The heavy morning mist creeps between the hills, cooling the earth. And over Liesjärvi National Park, the lakes act as perfect mirrors to a sky that is softly turning its lights down 🌾🌿

The bright summer nights are fading, making room for crisp morning air and cozy, misty forest walks. Finland is calling, and its quietest, most magical season is just beginning. 🌲✨

This is summer in Finland —where endless daylight, crisp air, and the simple melody of nature are all you need to reset. It’s a powerful reminder that the most beautiful moments in life can’t be caught on a feed—they have to be felt 😌

The magic of Juhannus 🌸☀️😍🇫🇮

In Finland, Midsummer (Juhannus) is the ultimate celebration of summer, nature, and endless light. It takes place during the summer solstice when the sun literally refuses to set. ☀️
Instead of sleeping, we escape to the lakeside cottages to celebrate with traditions passed down through generations:

🌼 Flower Crowns: Gathering seven different wildflowers to place under your pillow for good luck (and magic dreams!).
🔥 Kokko (Bonfires): Lighting massive lakeside bonfires to keep bad spirits away and gather with loved ones.
🍓 The Feast: Enjoying fresh summer food, new potatoes, and cold drinks by the water.
It is a time when time stands still, nature heals, and the night feels completely magical. 😌🇫🇮

Happy Midsummer everyone! 😍☀️

Yes, it is! 😍 This is how the midnight sun looks like ☀️

No sunset. No sunrise. Just endless golden hour. Summer in Arctic Finland completely breaks your internal clock 🙈 The sun never sets all summer long—welcome to 24 hours of pure Finnish magic ☀️

There is a specific kind of magic that happens when the Nordic landscape finally wakes up. The air feels lighter, the sunsets linger for hours, and the lakes mirror a perfect summer sky.
Finland in the summer is an experience that stays with you forever. 🇫🇮🌲
