In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint we installed several @subpod compost bins this year. The soil created from pod will be used for our future herb garden.

With our greywater waste management system, we are recycling the water used throughout the hotel and cleaning it for watering the gardens. Made of pex our holding tank is resistant of cracking insuring that we have no run off making it’s way into the ocean.

Our @saltosystems energy savers help keep energy consumption low only allowing guests to run the AC with the card is inserted.

We promise to continue every year improving in ways to become more sustainable.

The surf culture here at Guiones is one of the best characteristics of this beach town. We are located only 5 mins away from our favorite playground, the ocean.
