February 2026- In the first weeks of February, I drove myself back to Bay and said good bye to San Diego, for now. I spent a week in the snowy mountains. I joined my brothers and his friends for 24 hours in Las Vegas! I met the newest little member of our family and a cousin catch up! I enjoyed a few sunny days in Santa Cruz. I had a 24 hours girls getaway!

January 2026- San Diego, California. I spent four months in San Diego from November 2025 to February 2026. It was the reset, I needed. The reconnection I craved with family and friends. I was socially out in the world again.The sunshine, sunsets,beaches and bonfires lit up my soul.The slower pace of life. The work life balance.The rest. The year of 45. It feels like I blinked and another year around the sun is about to begin. I want time to slow down. I’m trying to slow down after a year of working way too much. I want more moments watching the sunset, the moon rise, and being near the ocean. I am so grateful for the time spent with family and friends, cherishing and nurturing these real connections. I’m grateful this year brought travel and new adventures. It also brought losses and grief in so many different forms — not only personally, but in the world as a whole. As I step into a new year of life, I’m carrying the lessons, the love, the softness, and the strength.
