60 years ago, the Civil Rights Act was signed. #ad

When you look at the history of Civil Rights in America – past to present – Baltimore is one of the most integral cities. Boasting the likes of Thurgood Marshall, Lillie Carroll Jackson and so many more – the story of Civil Rights and @visitbmore deserves more respect than it gets.

I had the honor of sitting down with some of the city’s present day history makers to get their take on the city they love and the movement they carry on in their work. Dr. Alvin Hathaway (@dralhathaway) walked me through the halls of the newly constructed Thurgood Marshall Amenity Center and explained its history as the old PS103, as well as his vision for the near future. In addition to sitting down with respected local artists like photographer Devin Allen (@bydvnlln) and NYTimes Bestselling author D. Watkins (@dwatkinsworld), we even had some @nomadnesstribe members come out for a Tribe reunion at @morganstateu. Check out the full episode!

We left Madagascar knowing one thing: We had to come back.

We had the chance to explore Nosy Be a couple of times and as our trip era comes to an end we know we have to run it back. The waterscapes, the people and my goodness…the sunsets are some of the best in the world.

From May 2-9, 2027 we’re returning for a week long adventure through one of Africas most surprising destinations.
