this one’s a thank you. for the memories, the support, and every step that brought us here.

because the truth is, this movement was never about one person or one run. it’s a collection of every single soul who showed up, every single mile logged, every single conversation shared on the road. all of it stitched together into something bigger than we could have built alone. and with every step, our purpose becomes clearer.

what started as a spark, just a quiet flame of passion, has grown into a community. that spark became an ember. and that ember has become a light for our youth athletes, the ones coming up behind us who needed someone to believe in them first.

every person who has ever crossed our path added to the gust that helped this fire grow. you fanned the flame whether you knew it or not. and we intend to keep burning bright, a guiding light for anyone who feels like they’re running in the dark.

so let us light your way.

to every run club that has supported us, shared our mission, and welcomed us in, thank you. we will always show up for you the way you’ve shown up for us. the support runs both ways. the respect runs deeper. that’s how community is supposed to work.

and with our purpose held close, run forward, give back, we’ll keep making strides in the sport that brought us all together.

Surprising a team of middle school runners with their first school singlets?? Yes please. The look on their faces was priceless. 🥹

La Vuelta de la 5K, Playa Vista update ✨

Because of this community, we were able to donate $250 to @globalempowermentmission in support of Venezuela earthquake relief.

every mile has a meaning. every purchase has a purpose.

when you rep nomad, you’re not just wearing merch. you’re funding a movement. gear for a kid who couldn’t afford it. a starting line for someone who thought they’d never get one. a future for the next generation of runners coming up behind us.

that’s the whole point. we run forward so we can give back.

no borders to where we’ll go. no boundaries to who we’ll reach. no limits to what this community can build when it moves together.

why “nomad”?

because running is older than all of us. before language, before borders, before maps, there was the human body built to move. we are endurance animals. we evolved to run, to chase, to cover ground on foot until we found what we were looking for. running is how our ancestors survived. it’s how we persisted. it’s written into our blood and our bones, and to this day the body still craves it.

but nomad is more than that.

nomad is a celebration of the ones who moved. because there is nothing more nomad than an immigrant. nothing more human than uprooting everything you know in pursuit of greener grass, better resources, safer ground. the courage to leave. the faith to start over. the willingness to run toward a better life with no promise waiting on the other side. that instinct to chase something more, it lives in the same place the running does. it’s ancestral. it’s ours.

so we run for them too.

for the families who crossed oceans and borders so the next generation could have a starting line. for the communities that built this city with their hands and their hope. and for the millions of immigrant fathers who deserve nothing more than to come home alive after a long day’s work.

we stand with our immigrant communities. today and every day. that’s not a statement. it’s who we are.

because when you trace it all the way back, we all come from someone who wandered for more.

that’s the nomad in us.

it always has been.

some days everything feels like it’s going wrong. then some weeks feel that way too. one bad day stacks onto another until you wonder if it’ll ever turn around.

running knows that feeling. one rough run becomes three. the pace that felt easy last month feels impossible now. you get hurt, you come back, you get hurt again. and that quiet voice creeps in asking why you even bother.

here’s why.

because tomorrow is still coming. and it doesn’t care how today went. it shows up clean. another sunrise. another chance to lace up. another shot at the person you’re still becoming.

the bad runs aren’t the story. they’re just chapters. the injuries aren’t the end. they’re detours. and every one of them is teaching you something the good days never could. patience. resilience. the quiet strength built only when things aren’t going your way.

so when the weeks feel heavy, zoom out. you have tomorrow to look forward to. goals still waiting on the other side of this rough patch. and the simple gift of waking up to run another day.

two years!!

two years of mondays that actually mean something. two years of showing up, running it out, and cheersing to it after like we earned every sip. (we did.)

here’s the truth: you didn’t just start a run club. you started a whole vibe. a monday people look forward to. a crew that hypes the back of the pack as loud as the front. good miles, good people, cold beer, zero ego.

as nomads. we run wherever the love is. and every monday, the love is right here.

so thank you. for the miles. the laughs. the “go one more” could either mean the mile or the brew. the faces that show up rain or shine and turn a regular monday into a full-on celebration, week after week.

because that’s exactly what this is. a celebration.

happy two years, ambitious ales run club! you built something special and we are so lucky we get to run with it.

they say if you want to get faster, you have to run with people faster than you.

so let me introduce you to phil.

if you’ve lined up next to him, you already know. the guy moves. effortless speed, the kind that makes you question your own pace and then quietly try to match it. and now he’s taking all of that and pouring it back into the rest of us, leading tempo thursdays at prime.

that’s the part that hits different.

because speed like phil’s could’ve stayed selfish. he could’ve just clocked his splits and left everybody else to figure it out. instead he’s turning his gift into everybody’s gain. showing up to make the whole pack faster. that’s not just a fast runner. that’s a leader.

and here’s what we’ve learned out here on the road. they tell you if you want to go fast, go alone. if you want to go far, go together. but running rewrites that. because when you go together, you go fast AND far. you find gears you didn’t know you had because someone ahead of you refused to let you settle. you chase, you stretch, you grow.

speed isn’t just physical. it’s contagious. one fast runner pulls the whole pack forward. one person believing you can hit that next level makes you believe it too.

so if you want to get faster, you know what to do. find the ones who push you. run with people who make you reach.

the summer heat is here. but somehow prime still runs hotter.

if you saw me weaving in and out of the pack thursday night, that was me chasing shade and dodging the heat while grabbing shots of the best run club in long beach. somebody’s gotta capture the magic. might as well be the guy sweating behind the camera.

and prime just keeps leveling up. with @philthese_ now leading speed work sessions, there’s a real path here for runners chasing new goals. intervals, structure, that uncomfortable kind of work that actually makes you faster. the kind of training that turns “i hope i can” into “watch me.” whether you’re going for a new pr or just want to see what your legs can really do, prime’s got a lane for you now.

and that’s the thing about this place. in a time where everybody’s craving connection, getting outside, living a little healthier, finding their people, prime makes it easy. i love surrounding myself with folks who get it. whether we’re running, talking, or just out there moving in the summer air, the energy is always right.

prime has welcomed me from day one. and i’m honored every single time i get to run alongside them.

so when thursday comes around, you already know.
